"But I don't understand!" Dipper exclaimed. "If you're not in my body, how can you control me!?"
"And I thought you were supposed to be the smart one." Medallion Bill said, rolling his eye.
Bill's body began to glow, causing Dipper's eyes to begin to take on a yellowish tint. Dipper's pupils became more oval-like, just like Bill's.
"Ta da! Instant possession!" Bill said through Dipper's mouth.
"WHAT!? HOW DID YOU..." Dipper began, and then noticed his mouth wasn't moving as he spoke. "Why..."
"You're trapped in your own head kid." Bill said. "I can hear you, but everyone else? Not so much." The demon smirked.
"Dipper!" Dipper and Bill heard Mabel's voice through the bathroom door as she knocked. "Are you done yet?"
"Just a minute sister!" Bill said, smirking in the mirror.
"Bill..." Dipper began.
"Sorry Pine Tree but you're under my control now." Bill said.
"Dipper! Who ya talking to?" Mabel called through the door.
"No one Sho- uh, Mabel." Bill said, opening the door and strolling past her casually.
Mabel looked after her brother suspiciously, but shrugged it off.
Dipper had noticed Bill's slip up. He was always calling Mabel, Shooting Star and Dipper, Pine Tree. Why? Dipper had no idea, but if he could get Bill to call Mabel by that name, maybe she could figure out something was up.
Bill walked hastily away from Mabel, gritting his teeth. The Dream Demon too had noticed what he'd almost said. He couldn't be caught again.
"So Pine Tree! It's just you and me! What to do with these noodle arms and legs today?" Bill said, tapping a finger against his chin. "I can tell you've been sleeping more since a week ago. There's so much more energy in this body of your's"
"Please don't hurt my body like last time." Dipper plead.
"Right, of course. So I presume that means, no slapping my own face, no falling down the stairs on purpose," Bill had begun to list everything off on his fingers, "no slamming my hands in a drawer or sticking forks in them..."
"Ok you don't have to remind me of everything." Dipper said.
"I can't help it if pain is hilarious." Bill said with a shrug. "Now we should probably keep this out of sight so nobody gets suspicious."
Bill picked the medallion up and tucked it under his shirt, making sure the string was under the collar.
"Hey Dipper!" Mabel said, walking into their bedroom. "Want to continue looking for the other journals today?"
Dipper's face fell in horror. He could practically see the evil grin on Bill's face.
"Would I!" Bill said gleefully.
"Awesome! I'm gonna go get your Journal from downstairs. Do me a favor and pack an umbrella; it might rain later."
"Sure thing sister." Bill said, as Mabel ran downstairs.
"This is too easy! I'm already being handed one Journal straight away, and now I get to spend the whole day looking for the others!? This is a dream come true!"
"That's saying something coming from a Dream Demon." Dipper muttered.
"Watch it kid." Bill warned. "Let me remind you who has control over this body right now."
Bill picked up a sewing needle from Mabel's sweater making supplies. He held it over the center of Dipper's hand.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry just don't..." Dipper begged.
"Stab your hands repeatedly with needles?" Bill finished smugly.
"Yeah that..."
"Fair enough. But keep quiet then kid."
Bill walked over to the twins' closet and pulled out an umbrella. He picked Dipper's hat up off his bed and plopped it on his head.
"Dipper, you coming?" Mabel yelled from downstairs.
"Be right there!" Bill yelled. "Oh this day will be VERY interesting."
Dipper cringed, knowing this wasn't going to end well...
