"Circuit tracked the stolen car it's heading for the clubhouse on the back roads, we should just ride and meet them there." Knuckles says as he climbs on his bike. Relief instantly floods my system, Scarlett has kept her safe and is taking her home. We waste no time is heading for the clubhouse, Knuckles and I both desperate to see our women are safe.
Before we get far into our ride Knuckles pulls up at the side of the road
"Circuit keeps calling, hold up." He shouts back as he puts his cell to his ear. Something is wrong, I can tell from Knuckles expression and the curses he's roaring. He stuffs his cell back in his pocket and turns to me
"Circuit is tracking the car they stole, it turned away from the clubhouse to an abandoned warehouse and is parked inside." Is all Knuckles says before starting his engine again and speeding off. I rush to catch up to him and we turn off the road no doubt heading towards the warehouse, if something has gone wrong, there's only two of us, we need back up.
I see two motorcycles up ahead and release the breath I was holding when I see it's Socket and Ace. We pull up alongside them and climb off our bikes
"The warehouse is just ahead, we walk the rest of the way." Knuckles says pointing to a building up ahead.
We all draw our guns and begin moving together. We're only about 200ft from the building when two gunshots ring out and we all look at each other before moving faster. As we reach the building Knuckles points for Socket and Ace to take the left side while we take the right.
"You stupid bitch! You really thought you could take six of us on alone?" A male voice growls as I approach the open doors
"Four out of six ain't bad." Scarlett laughs, she's alone? Where the hell is Evie?
"Well I was going to go easy on you, just use you for leverage against the fucking Demons but now..." I slowly creep forward and see Scarlett on her knees, blood coming from her shoulder and running down her face, her left eye is swollen and one devil has her hair in his fist as the other presses the barrel of a gun to her temple
"Oh trust me Snake I will end you. I may be on my knees right now, but you'll be begging me for forgiveness in about seven minutes." Scarlett smirks as she spits blood on his boots. Knuckles and I nod to each other as we aim our guns but before we can step forward gunfire rains from the back of the warehouse
"Jesus Evie stop fucking shooting you got them." Scarlett groans as she falls to the floor flat on her back, Snake and the other Devil lying around her
"Scarlett!" Knuckles shouts as he runs to her
"Caleb?" She cries and he kneels beside her. I step in and look where the fire came from and see Evie come out from behind a stack of crates
"Evie." I sigh as I finally relax knowing she's safe
"Reaper thank god." Evie says as she begins running to me and I wrap her up in my arms
"Evie? Are you hurt?" Socket comes running across the warehouse towards us
"No, I'm ok. Scarlett made me hide I'm not hurt, just scared." Evie says as she turns away from me to Socket. He pulls her into his arms and she wraps her arms around his waist
"I swear to fucking god anyone touched you I'll end them the exact way I did the last four mother fuckers!" Socket roars as he presses Evie against him, did he say four? Is he fucking kidding? I feel my stomach bottom out at the thought of the pain and torment she suffered
"I'm fine, Scarlett made me hide, I should've acted sooner stopped you getting hurt." Evie says as she turns to Scarlett
"You kidding? This was fucking awesome! I haven't had a fight in sooo long! I think I need a big strong man to take care of me." Scarlett pouts looking at Knuckles
"Ask the guy you tried to get to your motel room." Knuckles growls
"Oh baby, you know I only have eyes for you, I would've snapped that poor boy like a twig." Scarlett replies as she continues to bleed on the cement floor
"Ask Knuckles about the barista." I say to Scarlett with a smirk
"You mother fucker." Knuckles groans
"Excuse me? I go missing and you're hitting on baristas? Oh you're gonna pay daddy." Scarlett growls as she stands up, but then leans on Knuckles for support as she clutches her stomach
"Angry sex later and call it even?" Scarlett asks and Knuckles nods laughing before guiding her outside
"Those two are crazy, I love them." Evie laughs as she watches them walk away
"You think you can ride back with me?" I ask her as I wrap my arm around her
"Considering how many different ways I was wrapped around you in the last 24 hours I don't think a motorcycle will be a problem." She whispers but it doesn't work when I hear Socket groan
"That's my fucking sister!" He says stomping outside as Ace laughs
"He's gonna kick your ass in the ring bro." Ace says before stepping outside after Socket
"Ring? What's he talking about?" Evie asks
"Once all this shit with the Devils is dealt with Socket and I will fight in the ring in the gym." I explain and she gasps
"I'll kick his ass myself if he hurts you." She replies and I laugh
"It's the way the club works sweetheart. I made a move on a brothers sister, we go into the ring, we fight it out, shake hands and then it's done. I'll be fine." I assure her as I take her hand in mine and begin walking for my motorcycle
"How are you doing?" I ask as I offer her a cigarette and she takes it
"I'm ok, I mean, it was kind of too familiar when Snake and the other one had Scarlett but although I wish I'd helped Scarlett sooner at least instead of just letting something happen I fought back. I'll probably have a good cry in the shower later." She smiles as she looks up at me, she's a whole different person from the girl I first met huddled in the corner of her bedroom
"You amaze me Evie, you're so strong." I say as I stop her walking and lean down to kiss her
"The old me was, I want her back."
"Well from what I've seen she's fucking hot too, I might show her how hot right here." I growl against her ear and feel her body shiver, I wrap my arms around her until my hands rest on her ass and give the firm globes a squeeze
"That's my fucking sister!" I hear in the distance and Evie giggles
"Might want to close your eyes then baby bro!" Evie shouts back before pulling me down to her and kissing me passionately.
