Levi hadn't been bluffing when he said he could have sex and drive at the same time. It was more than a little awkward making eye contact with the other cars crawling forward on the freeway, but eventually I stopped caring and let Levi totally obliterate me.
We had both finished by the time we made it home, and I was surprised that Levi hadn't gotten pulled over for distracted driving. We had passed at least two highway patrolmen, and one of them had waved at me. I think that they were all probably too scared to actually get close enough to write us up. It probably wasn't worth it to them, and I didn't blame them. I hadn't really seen Levi as an exhibitionist, but I figured he probably dabbled a little in everything.
Levi pulled into a parking space and cut the engine of his car. Climbing off of Levi's lap, I reached into the back row, grabbing the cum towel and wiping myself off with it. Levi always had a couple in the back row of his little car.
"Can I see that when you're done with it?" Levi asked, extending his hand and looking at me. I nodded and finished cleaning up before handing it over to my boyfriend. "God, Jaeger, you're so good. Was that the first time I've given it to you from the back?"
I thought about that, trying to remember another time that we had had sex like that. Or at all. I drew a blank. "I think it was," I said incredulously. Sex was happening a lot less frequently because of our differing schedules and the fact that we rarely had a moment alone together, so we took it where we could get it. The last time we had had sex, it was over spring break after Levi had gotten off work. That was nearly two months ago.
"Well, Mr. Honorary-Ackerman-For-The-Summer, how was it?" Levi asked me, zipping up his pants and climbing out of his car.
"Fantastic. Little awkward in the car, but I can see why people like it. We'll have to try again when we have more room. And Mr. Honorary-Ackerman-For-The-Summer, huh? Why can't you be Mr. Jaeger?"
"My name carries more weight than yours does. The Ackermans are a force to be reckoned with. The Jaegers are kinda pansies. At least all the Jaegers I know. Your mom's not a Jaeger, right?" My jaw dropped in mock offence as I playfully backhanded his shoulder. "Also Eren Ackerman has a nice ring to it," Levi smirked, kissing my cheek. "Besides, usually the wife changes her name. And you're more of a bitch than I am." I grinned at him, and it must have been pretty goofy looking, because Levi's mouth was on mine instantly.
"Can we at least wait for round two until we get inside your apartment?" I asked, pulling back, and laughing.
"As you wish," Levi said flatly, before smirking and leading me upstairs into his apartment.
Instantly I could smell something cooking, and my stomach grumbled in response. I hadn't eaten in almost three days. It wasn't because I was forcing myself not to, I just wasn't hungry. Now I was, but I kinda liked the streak I had going, not that I would let that on to Levi. I drank one beer at a party and Levi lectured me for an hour before bursting into tears. It was heartbreaking to watch.
"Hey guys!" Petra, Levi's ex-fuckbuddy and current flatmate, called from the tiny kitchen in the immaculate apartment. "Lunch is almost ready."
"Dammit, Petra. I leave you for maybe an hour and here you are making a mess of my lovely kitchen," Levi groaned playfully before poking her ribcage in passing. She spun around and whipped him with a nearby dishrag. I tried to ignore the pang of jealousy that shot through my body. I liked Petra, but I always felt a little insecure when Levi got all play-fight with her. "Besides, it is way too late for lunch. It's almost four."
"Damn. I really slept in then, huh?" Petra asked, bewildered.
"Yeah, you really fucking did," Levi chuckled. "Hangovers tend to have that effect on people."
"How did you know I-" Petra started.
"It's not very hard to tell with you, kid. I heard you puking last night, and then when the sun came up, you screamed about how it was too bright. I figured, hangover, and left for work."
"Rude," Petra scoffed. "A Tylenol would have been nice."
"You wish. I'm not a nice person, remember?" Levi justified, sitting down with a plate. "So what's cooking?"
"Food," Petra said, flipping something in her pan. "You have eyes, Levi. What does this look like to you?"
"Burnt rocks," Levi jeered.
"Okay listen, asshole," Petra started, pointing the spatula at him. Levi put his hands up in surrender.
"Joking. I was joking. Your grilled cheese looks fine, Petra."
"Eren appreciates me, don't you, Eren?" Petra pleaded, switching her gaze to me.
"Of course I do," I said, grinning at Levi smugly. He rolled his eyes.
"See, Levi? Eren's my new favorite person. You can go now," Petra said, hugging me tightly and handing me a grilled cheese. I winked at Levi.
"Yeah you heard her, I'm her favorite."
"You people," Levi groaned, standing and walking over to the stove. "What am I gonna do with you?"
He reached for a sandwich and Petra slapped his hand away with a spatula. "Nope. Only nice people get grilled cheese, Mr. Grumpy."
"I'm nice," Levi said, pouting and opening his eyes wide. I had never seen him give anybody puppy eyes before. It was hilarious.
"You just said you weren't a nice person, like five minutes ago."
"I don't know what you're talking about. It must've been an impostor. I'm the nicest person ever." he grinned a large Hollywood grin with his perfect straight, white teeth. "Please?"
"Only because you said please." Petra stepped aside and let Levi grab a grilled cheese. He took one and sat down.
"So why was your day going shitty until you saw me?" I asked when we were finally alone.
"Baby. I love you. You know that. And I would never try to leave you. Ever. But do you remember when I applied to those Ivy League colleges so we could laugh when I got rejection letters?"
I nodded, remembering when he had done that back in February or March.
"Eren. I got into Harvard law school with a full ride."
