SLUR WARNING. I used the 'f' word for gay people. Sorry if this triggers anybody. It isn't something that I, even as a lesbian use in every day life, and I would not encourage others to use this word either. It is incredibly harmful, and that's sort of what I portray in this chapter. Don't use this word, even if you're kidding. 'Kay thanks. Love y'all.

I woke up, stretched across the back seat of Levi's car. Levi was in the front seat driving along the highway. I sat up and climbed into the front seat.

"There you are. Thought I had killed you or something."

"Well that's nice," I groaned. "Do you know where we're going yet?"

Levi paused, lost in thought. "Twenty six. And yeah, San Francisco. Thought we'd swing by and see horseface."

"Twenty six what? And Jean? We're gonna see Jean?" I exclaimed. Levi nodded.

"Twenty six hickeys. I counted before I started driving. Like I said, don't hide them. Not that you'd be able to. They're fucking everywhere."

I looked down at my still bare chest. It looked like I had been attacked by a vacuum hose. They were, in fact, everywhere. They marked up my neck and chest and there was no way I was going to be able to hide the ones on my neck.

"Shit," I hissed, slipping my shirt over my head. More than half were covered, but I counted at least ten in the mirror on my neck and collarbone.

"Don't cover them, Jaeger. I told you not to."

"I know," I paused, struck with the realization of what had happened the night prior. "Wait. We're engaged. Woah. That's insane."

"Good insane? Bad insane?" Levi asked, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Good. So good, just also insane. Never thought I'd get married, is all, and now it's kinda hitting me. I'm getting married. To you. Which is, like, the coolest thing ever. I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

Levi smiled, his perfect teeth glittering in the morning sun. "I feel the same way, Jaeger. I'm so fucking lucky to have you. You have no idea how many times you've saved me." Levi rested his hand on my knee.

"So how far away from San Fransisco? Have you reached out to Jean yet? Does he know we're coming?"

"He will when we text him. Why don't you that babe?" I rolled my eyes and pulled out my cell phone. I opened Snapchat and sent Jean a selfie, including Levi driving in the corner of the frame. He covered his face, blocking his features of his face in the photograph.

Jean almost immediately opened it, sending one back of him laying in bed. The banner across the picture read, "Jaegerbomb!!"

"Hey," I typed. "Levi and I are headed up around the bay area. You down to meet up sometime while we're up here?"

"Fuck yeah, Jaegerbomb. When are you guys gonna be up here?"

I paused, wondering how long it would be. I turned to Levi, "How far away are we from San Francisco?"

"Ballpark? Like, maybe forty five minutes. We've been driving forever. Yeah we've been taking our time, but its a drive I could make in ten hours, tops, driving by myself."

I turned back to my phone, texting Jean again, "Give it an hour."

"Okay," Jean replied. "Fisherman's Wharf? Noon?" I looked at the time on my phone. It was ten twenty eight.

"Sounds good."

"Kay. See you then." I clicked off my phone and turned to Levi.

"We should tell our families, huh?" I asked. Levi nodded.
