We kept driving for several hours, occasionally stopping for gas and snacks along the way. Eventually, I hooked my phone up to the audio jack in Levi's car, deciding to play some music. I tried to pander to Levi's taste in music a little more, but he wasn't having it.

"All your music is garbage, Eren." Levi said, unplugging my phone and sticking the AUX cord into his phone.

"And yours isn't?" I retorted.

"No, actually. It's not. Who knows, maybe I'll educate your ass about fucking actual music. None of this Lil' Pump bullshit. What the hell, Eren I had fucking faith in you."

"Really? Well who do you listen to then, Mr. Music God?"

"You're about to find out, Jaeger." Levi played a song. It was some kind of remix to a pop song, but more depressing sounding. It had weird, ethereal sounding string synths and hard bass. As peculiar as it was, I couldn't complain. It was good.

"What is this genre?" I asked, looking over at Levi.

"It's called Witch House. Kinda like trap music for emos." Levi explained. I looked out the window at the setting sun.

"I like it," I admitted. "This is really good."

"The fuck did I tell you, Jaeger? I have superior taste in music. Panic! At the Disco is for pussies. At least their new shit is."

"Oh no, you're not one of those hipster anti-mainstream elitists are you?" I asked, smirking at my boyfriend.

"No. They just aren't as good anymore. If I like a song on the radio, I'll admit it shamelessly. I just don't usually like the top 40. Of any genre."

"Okay. Cool," I chuckled. There was a pause as we listened to the music. A heavy thought weighed on my mind. "I have a question. And feel free to not answer if it's too much."

"Okay," Levi said skeptically. "Go on."

"Knowing what I know about the way you were when you were younger, why didn't you have Isabel get an abortion? Not that I'm not glad you have Poppy, but-"

"I get it, Jaeger. I see where the question' s coming from. We talked about it when she first found out. In the end, it wasn't something she wanted to do, and I wasn't gonna force her to do something she didn't wanna do. If she wanted to have the baby, it was her body, and therefore her choice. I wasn't the pregnant one. I figured she could do what she felt like the right choice was. I promised her that I would help out in any way I could and we moved on. Not a second thought in that category, and there hasn't been one since. If I think about it from her perspective, I wouldn't want some dude making decisions about my body for me, so I left the final decision up to her."

"That was a cool thing to do for her."

Levi nodded, turning the music back up. The bass rattled the shell of the car, vibrating me in my seat. I looked out at the last little green glow from the sunset as the huge ball of gas dipped below the horizon for the night.

We were driving through dense forest when Levi finally decided he was done driving for the night. He pulled off the road and in between a couple trees before cutting the engine. It was dark, the moon the only source of light. He climbed into the back row of his car and stretched out.

"We gonna sleep here?" I asked.

"Hey, I mean unless you wanna pay for a hotel." I shook my head. "Come back here with me." I followed instructions, crawling into the back row of Levi's little Nissan. I settled between his legs, resting my head on his chest. I looked up at him, a knowing, mischevious smirk played across my lips. I knew exactly what I was doing. Levi glared down at me, and I let out a long exhale, settling lower down, putting more weight on Levi's crotch. "I thought you were mad at me."
