A Menacing Shadow

*Link's POV*

Here I and what seemed like every other student that goes to this school stood in the front of the school. The teacher was not here yet and the time just turned 10pm. This is where we were told to meet. At least I hope so. I did get the info from Tooney....

A noise could be heard behind us and we all turned around to see a women with greyish silver eyes that were plain, had greyish silver long hair, and looked to be about twenty years old in a fancy looking dress along with a heart shaped pendant around her neck stood there. Right next to her there was what looked to be shadowy looking creature with yellow eyes holding a bar of chocolate.

Something frightened me about her though, and the worst part is I could see exactly what it was.

A shadow version of her with yellow eyes and a different dress floated close behind her stared at all of of us looking at each and one of us. It had such a strong dark and menacing aura around it as if it could literally come up to me right now and mercilessly kill me.

I looked left and right to see if anyone had seen it too and is reacting to it. I couldn't see anyone else so I took a step back behind the line of students thinking I was going crazy. I then saw Rosalina who seemed to be holding on tightly to a concerned Luma and Pichu in her arms staring directly at the shadow emanating the dark menacing aura. I also saw Robin along with Lucina seeming to look like they were getting ready to defend themselves if they needed too and were really on edge. There was also Palutena and Zelda who were really on edge. I suddenly felt something behind me and I found Toon Link hiding behind me.

I looked back over at the lady and immediately saw the thing staring me dead straight in the eyes. It then looked down at the lady and faded away. After that a pure aura filled the area and all tension seemed to fade. Tooney came out from hiding and stared at the Lady, but I could tell that everyone that saw it were remaining very cautious.

"Welcome students to the Super Smash Class! In this class you will be putting everything you learned in other classes to the test in fights and missions assigned by me. I am your teacher. I am not going to reveal my name for teaching purposes."

"Then what should we call you, Ms.!" I heard Pit yell out getting the attention of everyone.

I saw Palutena jump in worry as soon as she heard his voice.

"You may call me Ms. as it is until one of you is able to figure out my name, Pit."

"Eh, wait! How do you know my name?!" Pit asked shocked.

She moved towards a tree close by and stood still in silence with her tiny shadowy looking creature following close behind her. What was strange was it melted into the floor leaving the chocolate bar behind and popping up right next to the teacher when she stopped.

"First...." She started with and paused for a short time and looked up towards the tree.

"Ms. Zeal, this isn't the world of Naruto....hiding in a tree does you nothing if your trying to be stealthy. You would have been best off with a bush if that was the case."

We were all surprised at this especially when Ms. Zeal actually jumped out of the tree landing right next to our teacher. Ms. Zeal only stared at our teacher after that.

"I am sorry Ms. Zeal, but this class is supposed to remain confidential to only me and you were just caught spying on it. It was listed in the rules created by Masterhand that no staff or teachers are to know what goes on in this class."

Ms. Zeal started to walk away with a serious face. I didn't think someone that was usually so jolly could look so serious. I guess Ms. Zeal didn't trust this teacher either.

"I won't tell Masterhand that I caught you, but that is your first warning. I won't hesitate to tell him about your behavior next time." The teacher said and Ms. Zeal seemed to vanish after that.

"Now then, I know everyone's name because I have access to all your files. I know what everyone can do and what you are capable of doing. I even know of all your previous enemies and current ones." She continued and walked to the front to get a view of everyone.

"Did anyone perhaps question why I had everyone meet here tonight?" After she asked that question everyone looked kinda like they were thinking about it.

"Would it be to finally fight and train, Ms.?!" Marth asked out loud.

"Correct, but what are you training for and what are you fighting?"

"It's to be ready to defend the school against it's enemies, right?!" Fox asked.

"Correct again, which would mean I called you tonight here because....."

We all seemed surprised as to where this was going.

"You mean the school is going to be attacked tonight!" Palutena yelled out obvious that she had to muster up courage to speak up towards the teacher after what we saw.

"Yes, but thankfully we know before hand, so I can send a fighter or two to fight it within a barrier. Please remember not to ever kill your enemy. You are only allowes to weeken them or knock them out."

We all nodded a hesitant 'ok'.

"So who is the enemy that is coming to attack?" I asked finally able to shake off the feeling from earlier.

"A being named Ridley-"

"Who are you planning to send to face him?!" Samus immediately interupted after hearing the name.

"You..." The teacher said pointing towards Samus.

"Me?"Samus asked shocked.

"Along with the assistance of Pikachu, Ike, and Peach."

The following students that were chosen seemed to be shocked to be fighting so soon but mustered up the courage and nodded an 'ok'. Well except Samus and Pikachu. It took Pikachu comforting Samus and giving her a look to let her know that everything was going to be alright before she nodded an 'ok'.

"Shall we begin training then.." The teacher summed up and then put us in groups to train.

Odd thing is, I got put in a group with Tooney, Zelda, Palutena, Rosalina and Luma and Pichu, Lucina, and Robin. The students who also saw what I could see earlier excluding Pichu and Luma of course.

I and so ashamed of myself....I have been so wrapped up in ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) that I forgot to publish a chapter on Friday!

I ask for forgiveness now and I hope you all can forgive me!

I do hope you all will enjoy the chapter though!
