Correcting A Mistake

*Bowser's POV*

I watch another kid be dragged away by Ridley just as soul less looking as the last.

Another kid bites the dust due to whatever mysterious power Ganon now has. All Ganon does afterwards is stand there and look at his gloved.
I understand our reason for getting back at the heros but now this just seems wrong. I think it's about time I do something about it too.

Ganon retreats back to his Chambers, probably for more rest or something, like he did last time. It appears that he is completely oblivious to the world right now so if I am to do something, now would be the time.

I begin my journey to where I would believe the closest hero is located and where I knew Ridley wouldn't be. I continue my walk in this black concrete hallway for at least a minute and a half until I reach the end of it and begin my decent down the stairs. I finally make it down the stairs after thirty seconds.

Sometimes I hate being a big guy because of how slow I move sometimes.

After catching my breath I look at the lava pit located in front of me and pull a hidden lever that look like a spike from one of two statues I had sitting at the bottom of the stairs. After some "clinking" and "clanking" from some machinery, a bridge slid out from the other side and made a path for me to cross the lava pit safely.

I began my journey once again down the wide black concrete hallway until I found a cage that contained one of the heros in it at the end of it.

"What do you want?! Is it dinner time, already?!" He said in a slump with absolutely no eye contact. He stayed looking down at the ground and his words came out like venom had filled them.

I couldn't help but stare at him for a while. I walked closer to his cage feeling an once of regret with each step.

Hearing nothing but silence and footsteps, the trapped student looked up from the ground with drowsy, angry eyes. I couldn't help but freeze in my steps and stare at him longer. This warrior didn't look good at all. It looked as though he hadn't slept too well in the past coming days. But I came to feed him everyday. So why didn't I notice he looked like that before? Was I that blind with rage that I didn't realize it?

"Well I don't see food, so why are you here and why did I hear what sounded like Robin and Zelda screaming earlier? I swear if you hurt my friends, I will make you pay with pain that is three times worse!""

I don't know what to say. I believe that is a fitting punishment for what has happened but that will have to wait.

"Look, I hate to say it but you and your friends are in a lot of trouble. I am here to help." I say in a sudden hurry as I pop one arm in my shell to look for the keys. Shells are handy that way, I always enjoyed that it could store my stuff.

"Huh, what do you mean? How can I trust you? How are we in big enough trouble that it can actually cause one of their own to turn on them?" He asks quickly as he stands up and takes hold of the bars.

"All very good questions, that we don't have time for. Let's just say, why would I free you if you couldn't trust me?" I say as I finally find the keys and unlock the door to his cage.

"I guess that's a fair point. And who, shall I ask, holds the honor of freeing me?" He asks formally as I rush to a torch on the far side of the room and pull it down. It was another hidden lever. And just like the other one, after a "clink" and "clank" sound it revealed a hidden wall behind the black concrete that contained the hero's sword that I grabbed quickly.

"Names Bowser, and you kid?" I ask as I face him and throw him his sword.

"Marth!" He chants out as he catches his sword causing him to snap out of his shocked expression on seeing the hidden storage area that used to contain his sword.

"It's a pleasure to meet ya kid, now let's go save the rest of your friends!" I say toward him and he nods with a drowsy smile. I then began my run back down the long black concrete hallway I came down before with the blue haired warrior close behind.

Thanks for the long wait all. About a month I think.
I do apologize, it has been a long month and I am being told to find a job now...
*Sigh* Another long month ahead of me...
