I snorted the last line of the 2 I made off the dashboard and sighed as I rubbed my nose.
I took a deep breath before grabbing the lit cigarette from the edge of the car ashtray, taking a drag as I looked up at the house I was parked in front of.

The house where once upon a time, a happy rockstar couple lived in, but the fairy tale ended up dying.
I never really thought of coming back here.
I thought once I had finally gotten those divorce papers I never had to. Yet, here I am, feeling like the roadkill a cat would drag into the house for their owner.
I sighed as I sat in my car, looking at the house.
Nikki obviously didn't call a gardener in a good while. And the house could definitely use a freash coat of paint. I can't even imagine what awaits inside.
I sighed with frusteration. I'm only doing this for Tommy. So that he or anyone else isn't so worried.
I put the rest of my blow away in my bag before I climb out of my car, shutting the door and walking over, reaching for my key (since I still had it).
I unlocked the door and walked in.
"Nikki!" I called out.
I frowned when there was no answer.
"Nikki, are you home, its me!" I called out, looking to see the house was a mess, with bottles and trash everywhere, the sink overflowing with dishes.
No response.
I frowned, starting to get worried as I shut the door.
His car is in the driveway... Maybe he's asleep or something...
I head upstairs to the master bedroom, also checking other rooms as I went, but found nothing.
The master bedroom was also empty as I walked in.
I sighed. Why am I even wasting my time. He's obviously not home. He's probably out with friends or some groupie he met.
I was about to turn around to leave when I heard something fall in the closet and jumped.
I slowly turned and saw the door a bit open
I gulped nervously, slowly grabbing a nearby candlestick we had and held it in both hands.
"Nikki....? I-Is that you?" I called out, but was met with silence.
I carefully walked over, candlestick in my hands, and opened to door, only to be met with a sight that practically made my blood go cold and dropping the candlestick.
