*Mallory*

I walked up to the hotel room and sighed as I grabbed the keys from my bag, unlocking it, and hesitantly stumbled in.

Mick probably hates me.... They all do....

"M-Mick..." I called out nervously, ready to face whatever was was going to say to me.

I walked into the kitchen area, and Mick sat at the table, sipping coffee and an unlit cigarette in one hand, a lighter in the other.

His blue eyes looked at me, a blank look on his face as I stood there, feeling both scared and shameful.

He just sighed and looked down.

"Crack that window open a bit and grab a mug of coffee," he said casually and calmly. "You look like hell."

I sighed and nodded, as I walked over, opened the window a bit, then grabbed a clean mug from the cabinet, then walking back and sitting next to him.

He quietly grabs the pot and pours some into my mug before sighing.

"You were right... That party was a fucking curse on us all...." He said. "Look what its done to Vince... To Nikki... To you most of all..."

I frowned as I fidget with my mug a little.

"You were happy... Even before you starting dating Nikki, you had a peace of mind... You were a stong, independent, stubborn as hell woman who found happiness after all the crap and abuse she was put through before her life in Los Angeles," he said. "Now.... Now I'm starting to think she died in that car crash that night, too..."

I sighed, wiping away a stray tear that fell.

"You know... I'm starting to think she did, too..." I said quietly. "I-I look in the mirror and... I-I cant even recognize who that person looking back is...."

He sighed, blowing smoke in the air away from me as she handed me a smoke.

I gulped and took it, putting it in my mouth before letting him light it for me.

"Maybe Paul's right.... Maybe I am the bad guy.... I could have at least talked to Nikki back then, fix something, but.... But I just got so scared of history repeating itself, and now.... He deserved better... Razzle deserved better.... Hell, even Paul deserved better just now," I said, taking the cigarette from my mouth as tears quietly fell. "Maybe Don had a good reason to crack my skull open that time..."

"Cut that crap, Mallory," Mick snapped. "No woman deserves to be beaten into life support, ever. That animal's good rotting in that cell for the rest of his life where he belongs."
