"I wonder what they're like," Vince asked as we walked into the building.

"The kids each read a copy of The Dirt after being casted, as well as copies of Tommyland, The Heroin Diaries, Tattoos & Tequila, Bittersweet Chaos, etc... Depending what role they played, they did their homework," Jeff said.

"Avid readers... I like that," I smiled as we entered the elevators.

Its been 2 years since Mötley Crüe last saw the stage lights, and since then things have actually looked up for us all.

Nikki and I renewed our vows and have since been even closer and doing a lot together.

The twins soon graduated and went to college, Micah got a full ride sport scholarship to Berkeley, playing as attacking midfielder for the California Golden Bears Men's Soccer, but an administrator from a college soccer team in Spain seems interested in signing him up as a player. He's offered to have him flown to Madrid once he finishes college next year, and housing and utilities paid for him.

He seems eager to accept it, so Nikki and I agreed to fly with him soon to check it out. I admit, though, it's been a little painful for me, since Jasper and Zander are all grown and doing their own thing now and Micah is my youngest son, and has always been more even attached to me than anyone else (in other words, a major momma's boy. Hehe).

I'm putting a strong face for him, but if he does take this deal, I'm going to miss him so much while he's gone....

Nona getting accepted to an art school in London and is currently living there. Sharon and Ozzy got her and a friend a flat over there near the school, and she tells us she has met a young man over there while at a party, who's apparently a singer as well. His name is Dominick, but Nona says she said he goes by "Yungblud" I think. We miss her a lot, Nikki especially, but we're always in touch and she is able to visit for the holidays. I also feel at ease knowing Sharon and Ozzy are watching over her.

Stevie is graduating high school soon, and has already been accepted to UC Davis to study medicine. She continues working as an intern at Cedar Sinai with me. She wants to be a pediatrician, so she spends most time afterschool working in the children's medical unit, and also during holidays she volunteers at St. Jude's reading and singing to the kids there

Ava is also traveling with Dylan a lot as he tours for Midnight Kids. He's already asked for our blessing to propose to her soon, which we gave (even though it pained Nikki to say yes. Ava is still his little girl after all, so I understand).

Jasper tours for his band, but does spend a lot of time at home with Kylie and his daughter, Lulu. She'll be turning 2 soon and she loves spending time with me and Nikki, who definitely (who unfortunately already has all future boys she ever meets when she grows up on a death list.... Still the same even with his granddaughters, hehe).

Zander is currently helping Brandon film a movie up in Canada, accompanied by their girlfriends, but his new band, Faded Lines, has been pretty successful in the US so far, and might even tour Europe soon.

As the years went by since the last tour, Motley Crue's fan base had remained strong, keeping the music and tradition alive. Though we do miss the thrill and madness of playing live and touring together, we've still managed to enjoy being with our families and focusing on our other projects and careers.

Right now we were at a filming studio since we received exciting news of Netflix wanting to finally create a biopic film for the band based off The Dirt.
