*Nikki*

I groaned as I woke up to sunlight shining through my window.

I slowly woke up and saw it was now morning.

I then looked and see Mal, sound asleep next to me in my arms.

Tour ended a few days ago and we were all finally home and mostly just preparing for our music video, which we start filming next week.

I smiled and leaned down, kissing Mal's forehead as I realized it was Sunday and we didn't have any rehearsals or whatever, so we can sleep in and do nothing all day.

Ding-Dong.

I groaned in frustration as the doorbell rang downstairs.

Well so much for staying in bed all day with the wife.

I groaned quietly and carefully let go of Mal and climbed out of bed, pulling on a pair of pants before lazily heading downstairs.

Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong. Ding-Dong.

The doorbell then started to ring repeatedly.

"I'M COMING!!  Sheesh!!" I shouted as I got to the bottom of the steps and then head to the door.

"Better not be more fucking bible huggers," I thought while unlocking the door and then I opened it.

There stood a woman who.... Oddly looked a little bit like Mal... But older.... She was dressed all professional and stuff.

"Umm, can I help you?" I asked.

"Are you Nikki Sixx?" she asked, looking upset.

So help me this is another church member...

"Umm, yeah?" I asked, and suddenly she shoved me back and barged in. "Whoa!!"

"Where is my daughter, you neanderthal!?" she snarled at me.

"What the-?! Lady, who are even talking about?!" I asked, holding her back. "Get the hell out of my house!!"

"Not until you tell me where she is!" she snapped, shoving me again when suddenly...

"Mom!?" a voice shouted.

We turned and see Mal at the bottom of the stairs in her robe, looking shocked.

"Wait, this is your mother!?" I asked.

"Mallory," The woman said coldly as she adjusted herself.

Are you fucking kidding me?

*Mallory*

After we somehow calmed down a little, we sat in silence in the living room, Nikki next to me as my mother sat across from us.

The tension in the room was almost suffocating to say the least.

In the dead of night of late 1978, I crossed the Arizona border, leaving everything of my old life behind me, with only a small suitcase full of clothes, a precious locket that once belonged to my grandmother, and barely even $100 to my name, which obviously wasn't gonna get me far for long, but it was all I had.

For my first two weeks in California, I was living in my car, even had to snatch leftovers from outdoor restaurants a few times to be able to feed myself while looking for a job and salvaging the little money i had, sneaking into locker rooms at community pools after hours to be able to have a somewhat decent shower whenever possible.
