A young man and woman got married. When they were moving into their house the husband found a metal box in her belongings. His wife told him that he is not to open the box under any circumstances. Over the years they were married he would never open the box for the sake of his wife.
One day when they were an old couple, the wife had a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors said that it would be her last moments. The husband went home and got the metal box out of the closet and came back to the hospital. He begged and pleaded with her to let him open the box next to her before she was gone. She agreed to let him see what was inside.
He opened it and inside was 2 crocheted dolls and 1 million dollars. Confused he asks her what the dolls are for. "Every time I got mad at you, I would crochet a doll." He was amazed that she had only gotten angry with him twice.
"Sweetheart, I am so excited to see that you were only mad at me twice, but how in the worl did you get 1 million dollars?" The wife laughed before saying, "Oh honey! The money is from selling the dolls!"
