"Batgirl , I wanted to ask you something," Bart said as he punched a gang member in the face.
"A little busy at the moment!", You replied while kicking another gang member in the face,"Can't it wait for later?"
It was supposed to be a simple recon mission, but you were working with your boyfriend, Bart Allen, so obviously it didn't go according to plan.
Now the both of you were caught up in fightwith the gang you were supposed to get information about.
"No. It's something that I need to say now, or I won't be able to do it later. It's takes a lot of courage to say what I'm about to say, and I feel most courageous when fighting bad guys with you,"Bart replied.
" Okay! Say what you need to say Kid Flash. " You said.
You and Bart beat up the last few gang members and faced each other.
Bart was practically vibrating with nerves.
" (Y/N), I've loved since the first time you punched me 11 years ago. Every day I look at you and wonder how I got you to be mine. You're beautiful, talented, cut throat, crash, smart, athletic, mysterious, amazing, beautiful, bada–" You interrupted him by clearing throat.
" Oh, right! Sorry, I was rambling about how crash you are. What I mean to say is, I want to spend the rest of my life with you,"Bart said going on one knee," So... will you marry me? "
Your eyes widened and you even teared up with happiness as you nodded vigorously (Though you would deny the tears later)
"So Crash!", Bart exclaimed and even he had a few tears of his own.
You pulled Bart to his feet and kissed him.
It was one of the happiest moments of your life.
You couldn't wait to tell the family.
"This was a bad idea,"Bart said.
You glanced at him and glared.
The two of you were on your way to the Wayne Manor in Gotham City to announce to your family about your engagement.
In your eyes it was a good idea to also introduce Bart to your family members.
Bart didn't think so.
Not only was he going to meet the Batman, he was also going to meet all the other batpeople.
You could feel the car shaking, because of Bart vibrating with anxiety.
