Dark Crimson Rose — Mourning.

               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Selina wasn't paying attention to the speaker.
That much was obvious.
Her ears were still ringing, whether it be from the explosion or the incessant beating of her heart, she wasn't sure.
She could taste blood in her mouth from chewing the inside of her cheeks.
Next to her, Bruce was stone-faced and silent.
He was trying to hide his pain.
Selina held his hand loosely to ground him.
To make sure he knew this wasn't some weird dream or alternate reality.
This was real life.
What had happened had really happened.
(Y/N) had died.
That was the reality.
A horrible and truly heart-breaking reality, but still the reality.
On Silena's other side, stood Damien who looked devoid of any emotion.
Empty.
Silena could understand.
Damien had just lost his older sister (you can choose whether their blood related or not).
The person he had looked up to since coming to Gotham.
The person who had been the first to show him true familial affection.
Damien had loved his sister more than anyone else.
The two had been practically inseparable.
But now... (Y/N) was dead.
She had been ripped right out his life without so much as a goodbye.
The thought made Silena pull Damien closer to her.
"We will now lower Miss (Y/N) (L/N) into the grave," The speaker announced, "And we will allow the family a few words as the grave is filled."
Bruce let go of Silena's hand so he could help Tim, Jason and Dick lower the coffin.
Next to her, Damien tried to surge forward to stop them, but Silena wrapped both arms around him tightly.
He continued to struggle as they lowered the coffin.
