- I can't believe I have to wait five days before I can see you again..
Mingi said, as I was following him to the bus.
- I'm actually really looking forward to get a break from you.
I said, and smirked.
- hey!
Mingi said, and frowned.
- I'm joking.
I said, and laughed.
- you better stop.
Mingi said.
- but it's so much fun.
I said, and grinned.
Mingi started laughing, but then he went quiet like he was thinking about something.
- what's wrong?
I asked him.
- you know.. you don't have to sleep with me every time I'm at your place.
He said.
- what?
I asked, and laughed.
- I just... I love you. And I want to be with you. That's all I need. And maybe a few kisses.
He said.
It was sort of adorable that he was saying this even though I was pretty sure he loved the thought of doing it every time. At least I did.
- Don't worry. I'm probably enjoying it more than you.
I said, making him blush.
God I want to kiss him so bad.
But we would never be able to do stuff like that in public. We couldn't even hold hands.
- I just thought I should tell you.
He said.
- trust me...I want you.
I said, and hugged him.
- also,you sound ridiculous.
I said, making him frown, but then laugh.

We reached the bus stop, just as the bus arrived.
- see you in five years.
I said.
- stop it,it's five days.
Mingi said, making me laugh.
After saying goodbye to Mingi, I ran back home, because it started raining.

When I got inside, I changed clothes, and dried my hair. I was about to try to sleep, when I got a text from Mingi. It was a picture.
Mingi:

Sungyeon: hahahaha what the heck

Sungyeon: hahahaha what the heck.
Mingi: still love me?
Sungyeon: i think I love you even more now.
Mingi: :D
Sungyeon: go to sleep.

I put down my phone, and started laughing. And I couldn't stop. But I got interrupted by someone calling me. It was an unknown number. Was it my father? Maybe I should answer. I had a lot to say to him. Only bad things, but still.
He deserves it.
I answered the call. But it wasn't my father.
- hello?
I asked.
- Sungyeon.
The person said.
- seonghwa? How did you get my number?
I asked.
- I found it on Hongjoong's phone.
He said.
- what do you want?
I asked him.
- I just wanted to say I'm sorry.
He said.
He was.. sorry?
- You should be. You seriously went too far today.
I said.
- I didn't mean to say those things.. not like that.
He said.
- you shouldn't have said anything at all.
I said.
- just give me a chance to talk to you about it again.
He said, and sighed.
Should I?
- meet me tomorrow. You won't get another chance.
I said.
- Fine.
He said.
- Fine.
I said back, and hung up.

Was I really going to meet him?
I really should. It was a part of my plan after all. Maybe I could complete step one already tomorrow.
I eventually fell asleep, thinking about it. Maybe this would work...

When I woke up the next morning, I thought I heard someone at the door. Is Kyung back?
I got dressed, and walked into the hallway.
No one was here. I opened the front door just to be sure that I didn't actually hear someone at the door. No one was outside either.
But there was a envelope on the floor. I picked it up, and went back inside.
It was just an envelope with no name on it. Was it really for me? I decided to just open it.
When I saw what it was, I couldn't breathe.

I know you don't believe your father.
So you should find out on your own.
This is your mothers number.

I never gave you this letter
- Song Eun Jae.

It was from my fathers assistant.
I can't believe this... I would finally be able to talk to my mother.
I really wanted to call her right away, but I had to meet Seonghwa.
He texted me earlier to meet him at the park near their down. At least it was dry outside today.
I took the bus to the park, and found him standing by the river. I walked over to him, and when he saw me.... he smiled. It was sort of weird.
- thanks for meeting me.
He said.
- I almost didn't.
I said.
Suddenly he laughed. And It sort of looked like he was crying. I really couldn't tell.
- I'm sorry.. I just find your real personality so refreshing.
He said.
- my real personality?
I said.
- yeah. It shows once in a while.
He said.
- ok, so you're starting to see who I really am. What are you going to do about it?
I asked him.
- nothing.
He said.
- so what do you want?
I asked him.
- I want to be your friend. The real you.
He said.
- what??
I asked.
I couldn't really tell if he was joking or not.
- so let's start with honesty... what did you do?
He said.
- I don't lie. and I haven't done anything.
I said.
I lie all the time.
- That was a lie.
Seonghwa said.
Did he just read my mind?
When we went our separate ways, I couldn't stop thinking about how he suddenly wanted to be my friend. Maybe... maybe I could tell him everything. Maybe that's how my plan would succeed. With his help.

When I got back home, I found the letter from my fathers assistant again.
I kept looking at the number. I was suddenly so anxious.
Should I call? Or should I just.. No. I have to call her.

I dialed the number, and it felt like ages before she picked up.
- hello?
She said.
It's her... it's really her.
- Mom.
I said.
She didn't say anything back. And then the call ended.
My father... wasn't lying. She didn't want to talk to me.
But why?
