Two weeks had passed, and it was time for me to move back to my father. Kyung had already talked to my father about it apparently and my fathers driver would pick me up later today.
I hadn't been able to finish packing all my stuff, so Mingi was coming over to help. I hadn't really talked a lot to Kyung these past days. Because I was still so upset with him. He had promised me that I could stay with him as long as I wanted. But I guess Chanhee was more important to him now.
I wish I could stop being so angry, but that was literally impossible for someone like me. When I got angry at someone, I was capable of holding grudges for years. I could never figure out why I was like that. My brother was the complete opposite.... but he still loves me.
Loved me..When Mingi nocked on the door, i ran as fast as I could to the front door, resulting in me stumbling on a box.
Why am I so clumsy?
I opened the front door, and realized it wasn't just Mingi at the door. Chanhee was also there. I was struggling not to say something rude, so I just pretend I couldn't see her.
- Come on.
I told Mingi, and grabbed his hand.
- can I at least take my shoes of?
He asked me, and laughed.
- nope.
I said and dragged him with me to my room.
- that was really awkward you know.
He said.
- what was awkward?
I asked.
- you didn't even greet her.
He answered.
- oh, that.
I said, and laughed awkwardly.
- but I get it...
He said.We started packing all my clothes, and I realized I had to many outfits. I also still had a lot of clothes at my fathers place. Maybe I should give some of it away.
Is goodwill still a thing?
- you know.. I'm sort of going to miss this place.
Mingi said.
- I'm gonna miss this bed.
I said, and giggled.
- yeah, that too.
He said, and laughed.
- let's make one more memory then.
I said.
- we're supposed to pack your stuff.
Mingi said, and sighed.
- Fine.
I said, and rolled my eyes, making him laugh again. We finished packing all the clothes I wanted to keep, and then all my other important stuff. The only thing that remained was the things in my desk, and all my stuffed animals.
- are you really going to keep all of these?
Mingi asked me, looking at all of them.
- obviously.
I said.
While we were putting all of them in a box, Mingi kept holding them in front of his face, and make weird voices.
- that's not how he sounds like.
I said, and took my teddy bear from his hands.
Mingi just laughed, and picked up another one.
- stop it.
I said, and laughed. After we finished placing all of them in the boxes, Mingi went over to my desk.
- don't touch anything.
I said.
I still hadn't thrown away my notebooks. I guess I couldn't let go of them yet. Maybe it was because it was dangerous to keep them. And maybe...I liked that.
- Sorry.
Mingi said.
- Just come here.
I said, and sat down on my bed.
Mingi sat down beside me, and I kissed him.
- you can't just do that without asking.
He said, and smirked.
- Fine, you can't either without asking from now on then.
I said, and laughed.
- no wait i take it back.
Mingi said, and frowned.
- too late.
I said.
- I'm gonna cry.
Mingi said.
- no you're not.
I said.
- watch me.
He said, and then made a weird face.
Was he seriously trying to cry?
- Fine, it take it back too. Just stop that.
I said, and laughed.
Mingi just kissed me, and grinned.
- I love you.
He said, and giggled.
- I love you too.
I said, and hugged him.Just as I was about to suggest doing it one last time in this bed, someone nocked on my door.
Seriously?
- what??
I yelled, making Mingi laugh.
- I need to talk to you.
Kyung said from outside my door.
- no thanks.
I said.
- it's about the cats.
He said.
- Fine!
I yelled.
- I'll be right back.
I told Mingi.
- just try to be nice, ok?
He said.
- yeah yeah whatever.
I said, making him laugh.I left my room, and walked to the living room with Kyung.
- what is it?
I asked him.
- I convinced your father to let you bring the cats with you.
He said.
I was planning on letting my cats stay with Yunho a while, because my father didn't like cats.
So I was really happy that Kyung had convinced him. But I tried my best not to show Kyung how happy it made me.
- ok.
I said.
- are you ever going to forgive me?
Kyung asked.
- maybe in 20 years.
I said, and smirked.
- I'll wait, then.
He said, and smiled.
We ended up talking for a while, and I was almost starting to feel forgiving towards him.
But I wasn't going to let that happen. Not yet.
I decided to go back to my room, because Mingi had probably been waiting there for a while now.
As I walked back, Chanhee stopped me as I opened the door to my room.
- can I call you sometime?
She asked.
I was still so angry at her. She was supposed to be my friend. But she had clearly chosen my cousin over me.
- Chanhee is a boys name.
I just said, and went inside my room, and closed the door.
- that was a bit rude.
Mingi told me.
- it could have been worse.
I said.
- I have to go now.
Mingi said.
- what? I thought you could stay here all day.
I said.
- something came up.
Mingi said.
- Ok.. I'll walk you out.
I said.
- no it's ok.
He said, with a facial expression I couldn't understand. Then he just left. He didn't kiss me, and he didn't even give me a hug.
Something seemed off.
Then I saw it.
My desk. Some of the drawers were open.
No... no way. I told him not to touch anything.
I ran over to my desk, and started searching one of the drawers for my notebooks.
I couldn't find them anywhere.Where the hell was my notebooks?
And then I realized what was going on.Mingi had them.
