• Mingi's POV •

When I woke up the next day, I noticed Sungyeon had called me several times. I didn't know if I should call her back or not. I wasn't mad at her for what she said yesterday, but it was still mean.
And if she really thinks I'm annoying..
maybe I should just let her be for a while.
But it wasn't easy. While eating breakfast with my members, I couldn't stop looking at my phone, hoping she would call me again.
- Mingi?
Hongjoong said.
- what?
I asked him.
- you just put your elbow in your food.
He said, making everyone laugh. I hadn't even noticed it.
- do I need to take your phone from you?
Hongjoong asked.
Maybe it was a good idea. We had a lot to do the next days, because our comeback was in four days.
- you'll give it back when I ask for it, right?
I asked him.
- of course.
Hongjoong said. I handed him my phone, and looked at my food.
- my sandwich...
I said, and frowned.
- you can have mine.
Yunho said.
- no it's ok.
I said.
- just take it.
Yunho said, and rolled his eyes.
- ok..I would have taken in anyways.
I said, and giggled.
- I know, you keep eating my food.
Yunho said.
- no that's Jongho.
I said.
- I swear to god I'll break you like an apple.
Jongho said, making everyone laugh.

• Sungyeon's POV•

Mingi not wanting to talk to me, made me really anxious. He wouldn't break up with me, would he? I suddenly wished that it was Seonghwa that had seen me like that, instead of Mingi. Because Seonghwa was.... different. He didn't have any problems with me being the way I could be. Maybe that was the problem. If I couldn't show Mingi all of my personality, how could I be sure he actually loved me?
I had tried calling him several times since yesterday, but he wouldn't even answer my text messages. How could he do this to me again? I had been mean, but not that mean. He was the one that wouldn't stop bothering me about something I didn't want to talk about.
I decided to text seonghwa.

Sungyeon: what's going on? Do you know why Mingi isn't answering me?
Seonghwa: because you said mean things.

I guess Mingi had told them already.
That's just great.

Sungyeon: I didn't even mean what I said to him.
Seonghwa: you know.. I wouldn't have been mad if you said those things to me :) you're cute when you're mad.
Sungyeon: .... are you seriously trying to flirt with me right now?
Seonghwa: Yeah:(
Sungyeon: stop it.
Seonghwa: you look really pretty today.
Sungyeon: you can't even see me.
Seonghwa: you always look pretty.

Seonghwa wasn't any help at all, so I decided to talk to Hongjoong instead. But why was seonghwa suddenly acting like this? He was usually always so serious. And now he was... flirting? It was disturbing. I texted Hongjoong, but he didn't answer until an hour had passed.

Hongjoong: sorry, I was in the shower.
Hongjoong: I don't know why I told you that...
Sungyeon: did you shower for one hour?
Hongjoong: I spend a lot of time on my skin routine.
Sungyeon: your... body skin routine?
Hongjoong: ....yes.
Sungyeon: good to know.
Hongjoong: this is getting awkward.
Sungyeon: so awkward.

I couldn't stop laughing at how awkward the conversation became so fast.

Hongjoong: oh right, what did you want to ask me?
Sungyeon: do you know if Mingi is mad? At me? he won't pick up the phone.
Hongjoong: I don't know to be honest. I think he's trying to distracting himself with working hard.
Hongjoong: you shouldn't have said those things, Sungyeon.
Sungyeon: I know.
Hongjoong: you should at least apologize.
Sungyeon: you seem upset with me too.
Sungyeon: Hongjoong?
Hongjoong: we can talk in a few days :)

Hongjoong was right. I needed to apologize. But Mingi wouldn't even give me a chance.
Maybe I should just go to their dorm later.
But first, I had to make sure I wasn't going to freak out and yell at him again.
I was still in bed, so I had a solution, that was pretty close to me. I opened my nightstand drawer, and found the pill bottle I had been hiding there.
I would take one of them.. just this once.

It felt so weird taking these, because I ended up staring at the ceiling for hours.
It was so white. Had it always been that white?
I didn't even notice my maid entering my room before she put a tray of food on my nightstand.
- are you sick?
She asked me.
- not anymore.
I said.
- what do you mean?
She asked me.
- I feel so calm.
I said.
- that's a bit concerning.
She said, and sat down on my bed. She just looked at me for a while.
- are you on drugs?
She asked me.
- no, are you on drugs?
I asked her, and laughed.
- yes, don't tell anyone.
She said, and smirked.
- wait, for real?
I asked her.
- no, I was.. using humor, like you always do.
She said.
- that was actually pretty good.
I said.
- thank you.
She said.
- oh, I almost forgot to tell you. Your boyfriend is here.
She said.
Mingi? Mingi was here?
Oh right... that would be seonghwa. I got my hopes up for nothing. But at least I wouldn't be alone, if just for a while.
- he's not really my boyfriend.
I said.
- well, he's downstairs.
She said.
- just tell him to come upstairs.
I said.

My maid left, and a few seconds later, seonghwa entered my room. Why was he even here? I was still so disturbed over our text conversation earlier. Hopefully he wouldn't act like that now. Or I would have to hit him again.
Seonghwa just looked at me for a while, and then he laughed.
- something's different about you.
He said.
- I took one of those pills and now I'm considering painting my ceiling pink.
I said.
- Sungyeon.. that was a really bad idea.
He said.
- why? I'm feeling great.
I said.
- yeah, but it won't last.
He said.
- I'll just take one more.
I said.
- no, you won't.
He said, and he almost looked mad.
- you're so cute when you're mad.
I said, and giggled.
- ok you definitely can't take those pills again.
Seonghwa said, and sighed.
Then he started going through my nightstand drawer, and picked up the pill bottle.
- wait, what are you doing?
I asked him.
- trust me, I'm doing you a favor.
He said, and left my room.
Where is it going?
I got out of bed, and followed him.
Why was he taking them to the bathroom?
Then I suddenly realized it, but I couldn't stop it before it was too late. He had emptied the pill bottle into the toilet, and then he flushed them.
- How could you do that!
I yelled at him.
I needed them...
And the worst part was that I couldn't even seem to get angry. That was how much the pills worked.
