"Have you seen Octavia?" Bellamy asked Clarke. Taya recognized his voice and woke up a little more, eves dropping as always.

"No. It's Octavia. She's probably chasing butterflies." Clarke seemed to shrug it off.

"Clarke, i've checked the camp. She's not here." Bellamy stressed. Taya forced herself to wake up at that news as she began to redress herself.

"Okay. I'll help you find her. Let's check again. I'll go to the dropship and you and Taya can check the rest of the tents." Clarke said.

"I don't think Taya will want to work with me on this one." Bellamy shook his head.

"For Octavia? Yeah she will. You know where she is?" Clarke asked.

"Cayden's tent." Bellamy said stiffly and Taya froze realizing Bellamy knew. Taya felt a tinge of guilt.

"I'll get her." Clarke sighed. Taya forced herself to tie the final knot in her boots and stood up, glancing at Cayden for a second before walking out.

"I'm here." Taya said, pulling her hair out from her jacket. "Let's find Octavia, yeah?" She asked, trying to ignore the awkwardness she felt around Bellamy.

"Uh, yeah." Bellamy nodded, clearing his throat and looking at the ground, not able to meet her eyes.

Taya felt a pain of hurt at that for some strange reason.

"Hey, everybody, gather around and grab a weapon." Bellamy said who, with the help of Taya, dropped a bunch of weapons on the ground. "My sister's been out there alone for 12 hours. Arm up. We're not coming back without her." Bellamy said and various people grabbed some weapons.

Taya noticed Cayden walk over to grab a weapon and she knew it was only because she had one.

"Hey, wait." Taya stopped him.

"What?" He asked, confused.

"Just—Just stay here." Taya tried to convince him.

"No way am I letting you go out there alone." He shook his head, quickly kissing Taya before walking away to grab a weapon. Taya stood still, one thought running through her head

"Oh no."

She realized that Cayden thought it was going to be a real relationship, and Taya didn't know how to fix it so they could still be friends. After all, not only had be become a close one but also because he still was her second and very important.

Taya looked up and managed to catch Bellamy's stare before he looked at the ground. Taya realized just then how much she'd screwed up. It was new to her, being in the wrong.

"Guys, guys. Come here! Did you see that? Look up there." A kid rushed to show everyone as they all looked up, seeing hundreds of small lines trail across the sky.

"It's so beautiful." Someone commented.

"They didn't work. They didn't see the flares." Raven sighed heavily.

"A meteor shower tells you that?" Bellamy questioned.

"It's not a meteor shower, it's a funeral. Hundreds of bodies being returned to the earth from the Ark. This is what it looks like from the other side." Clarke explained. Taya looked to Bellamy for his reaction and saw him swallow hard. Taya felt bad for him, and while she hadn't forgiven his manipulation, she still felt the need to comfort him.
