"That should stop the internal bleeding." Clarke said as Bellamy and Taya walked into the dropship and to Raven's side.
"I don't understand. How did Murphy get a gun?" Finn demanded, looking to Bellamy who's arm was around Taya.
"Long story." Bellamy said.
"We got lucky. If Murphy hit the fuel tank instead of me, we'd all be dead." Raven commented.
"Wait, theres rocket fuel down there?" Clarke echoed Taya's thoughts.
"Enough to build a bomb?" Taya asked.
"Enough to build 100 bombs, if we had any gunpowder left." Raven sighed heavily.
"Let's get back to the reapers. Maybe they'll help us. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?" Bellamy questioned.
"Not this enemy. We saw them. Trust me, it's not an option." Clarke shook her head and by the slight fear in her voice, everyone left it at that.
"There's no time for this. Can she walk or not?" Finn asked Clarke.
"No. We have to carry her." Clarke shook her head.
"The hell you will. I'm good to go." Raven said and started to get up only for Clarke to stop her.
"Hey, listen to me. That bullet is still inside you. If by some miracle, there's no internal bleeding, it might hold until we get somewhere safe. But you are not walking there. Is that clear?" Clarke demanded. Raven nodded and laid back down.
"I'll get the stretcher." Finn said, moving away.
"Can't run away fast enough, huh?" Bellamy baited. Finn turned around and strode back over. "Real brave."
"Dying in a fight you can't win isn't brave, Bellamy, it's stupid." Finn shot back.
"Spoken like ever coward who's ever run from a fight." Bellamy pointed out, moving away from Taya to get in Finn's face.
"Okay, that's enough. You can bicker on the beach, alright? We're not out of the woods yet." Taya snapped as the two stared each other down, daring the other to do something.
"It's time to go." Clarke reminded.
"If they follow? It's a 120-mile walk to the ocean." Bellamy pointed out.
"Look, we're wasting time. If he wants to stay, he can stay." Finn growled, striding out.
"No, he can't." Clarke called after Finn but he was long gone. "We can't do this without you, Bellamy." Clarke turned to him.
"What do you want me to say, Clarke?" Bellamy demanded.
"I want you to say that you're with us. Those kids out there, they listen to you." Clarke pointed out.
"They're lining up to go. They listen to you more." Bellamy disagreed.
"I gave them an easy choice. But 5 minutes ago, they were willing to fight and die for you. You inspire them. I'm afraid we're gonna need that again before this day is through." Clarke said, walking away. Bellamy looked back at Taya who sighed heavily.
"It's time to go, Bell." She agreed with Clarke.
And so they did, guns raised and eyes alert as they left the walls. Taya looked back at Bellamy who wasn't moving before she and Clarke walked over.
"You did good here, Bellamy. We all did." Clarke looked at Taya as well.
"18 dead." Bellamy said shortly.
"83 alive. Clarke's right, you did good." Taya spoke up. Bellamy nodded and looked around one last time before extinguishing a fire and taking Taya's hand.
