Taya woke up to a burning in her eyes and a strong stench of moonshine. She woke up coughing.
"It burns!" She exclaimed, scared shitless.
"Taya, it's Octavia, sorry about the burning but all we had on hand was moonshine, get up." Octavia hurried her words, handing her a rag that Taya used to wipe it out of her eyes enough to see. "Bellamy's doing stupid things and I need you to help me stop him." Octavia explained.
"Say no more." Taya said, moving slowly with a groan of pain, holding her stomach. She noted that she was only in her bra with the bandage around her stomach covering her midriff but other things seemed more important at the moment.
"Octavia, get out of here." Miller called as Taya slowly started hoisting herself up the rungs, each one causing her pain.
"I told you he was protecting me. You didn't have to do this." Octavia told Bellamy.
"This isn't about you. I'm doing this for all of us." Bellamy said.
"You did that for all of us?" Taya asked looking to the bloody grounder, finally pulling herself up to the top level.
"I did that for Finn and Jasper and Diggs and John and Cayden and you." Bellamy said, staring Taya down, Taya looked away when he said Cayden's name.
"It wasn't even him." Octavia snapped.
"You don't know that!" Bellamy yelled. "We need to know what we're up against. How many there are and why they're killing us. And he's gonna tell us right now." Bellamy said, moving towards the Grounder.
"No, Bellamy, please." Octavia tried to hold him back.
"Miller, get her out of here." Bellamy ordered and Miller and another guy started to drag Octavia away.
"I was there! I— Hey, get— get off of me!" Octavia yelled, shoving them away. "I don't even think he speaks english. He won't understand you." Octavia said and shot Taya a look signaling it was up to her now as she left.
"Oh, I think he will." Bellamy said, staring the Grounder down.
Before he could do anything however, the ship got a hit that caused Taya to stumble a bit and groan in pain, she looked down and noticed she was already bleeding through the bandages.
"What the hell was that? We under attack or not?" Bellamy asked, demanding for answers.
"Storm damage. We're okay." A guy reported.
"Yeah, for now." Taya commented pessimistically.
"We're gonna try this one more time. What's your name?" Bellamy asked the Grounder, ignoring Taya's comment. "Where's your camp? How many of you are there?" Bellamy's questions were met with silence.
"Hey. Check it out." Miller called and everyone walked over to the pile of the Grounders stuff. Taya grudgingly let Bellamy help her over seeing how she was oddly feeling kinda of off and unwell.
"What is all this stuff?" Miller asked, referring to a bunch of vials.
"Hell knows with these people." Bellamy shrugged, going to open a journal only for the Grounder to pull on his chains in protest.
"I think we found something he doesn't want us to see, Miller." Bellamy smirked, looking through it. It seemed to be full of drawings.
"These aren't bad." Bellamy commented before finding one of Octavia and then one of the camp. It included tallies and crossed out marks for those who were dead.
"It's our camp. I'm guessing if I counted all those marks, it would add up to 102. 10 are crossed out. That's how many people we've lost." Bellamy said, looking enraged. Bellamy stood back up and walked over to the Grounder. Taya collected herself for a moment before standing up as well, only swaying ever so slightly.
