"Taya! Oh thank god!" Jasper sighed happily upon seeing the weakened girl. They pushed her into the room ahead of them and she stumbled into Jasper's arms.

"Get behind the wall." Jasper whispered into her ear before pushing her back. Taya was confused for a moment before everyone linked arms. So he meant a human wall?

Tsing stepped forward, unamused at their tactic.

"This one." She pointed at a terrified girl, clearly choosing the weakest link, literally.

"Let's go, Everyone now!" The guards rushed forward, punching and grabbing people.

Taya tried to fight, she really did. But she could barely put weight on her feet without searing pain in her hip, plus she still had the cuts from Tondc and her arm wasn't better yet.

Basically, point is, she was quickly cast aside.

And within a minute or two everyone was restrained or forced onto the ground, the fight ending as quickly as it started.

"Hey, everything okay over there?" A guard called to another guard who was restraining Jasper, the only one not on the ground.

"Yes, sir." The guard replied. Taya instantly recognized his voice and her wide eyes locked on him. Bellamy turned Jasper around and punched him to seal the act before looking over, his eyes catching Taya's for a moment before hurrying out with the other guard and the girl in tow.

Jasper's eyes locked with Taya's determinedly and then Taya saw the gun.

She allowed herself a small grin at Jasper.

"Can you fight?" Jasper asked, handing Taya a pipe.

"Of course I can fight." Taya gritted her teeth through the lie, taking the pipe and tucking it behind her back like everyone else.

"What's taking Bellamy so long?" Monty questioned as he stood next to the two.

"I don't know." Jasper replied, honestly.

"Maybe they caught him." Miller suggested and Taya shot him an irritated look.

"You make one more comment like that and I'll make sure you won't have any bones left for them to extract." Taya threatened.

"Bellamy will figure a way out. I know he will." Jasper reassured with a calming hand on Taya's good shoulder.

"It's already been four hours. The guards will be back any second." Monty stressed.

"They're gonna take someone else." Harper sounded on the verge of tears.

"No! Listen to me. Everyone, we stick to the plan. They're not taking anyone else out of this room without a fight." Jasper said strongly just as the alarms blared again.

Taya readied herself as the doors opened. Jasper and the front row linked up again.

Tsing stepped forward.

"This one." She pointed at Monty.

"Hey! Get your hands off him!" Jasper yelled, whipping out the gun as they seized him.

A guard went to hit the gun away from Jasper and he shot, hitting the man in the chest, unfortunately he had a vest on and just sprung at him again as fighting broke out, the pipe in Taya's hands moving by its self.

However a guard managed to knock her to the ground quickly considering she couldn't really move from her position without her hip collapsing.

"Take him instead." Tsing pointed at Jasper and Taya looked up to see her friend being grabbed.
