Bestie's Friends✔️

Background info: you and Kat are best friends. You are finally moving to LA. Kat is letting you stay in her apartment for a bit until you can find your own. You get to meet her friend group.

     You grab your suitcase from baggage claim and head outside of the airport. You search the crowd for your blue-haired bestie. You see blue hair bouncing up and down as Kat is trying to see over the crowd. You make your way over to Kat and scare her from behind.

     "Oh my gosh! Y/n! You scared me." You both start laughing, then she grabs you in a hug.
     "I missed you Kat." You mumble into her hair.
     "I missed you too." She replies pushing you back to arms length.
     "You dyed your hair." She states with a giant smile.
     "I did it two days ago so I could surprise you." You smile wide.
     "It's so pretty! I love the purple." She gushes.
     "Thanks boo." You both laugh a little and head to her car.

     Kat drives to her apartment and you both just sing and laugh the whole way. After a kinda-long drive, you arrive. You grab your suitcase and backpack and follow Kat to the elevator.

     "I already have an extra bed for you." Kat proudly states.
     "Wow, you were really prepared weren't you?" She nods hastily and you laugh.
     "I've been waiting for this forever!"
     "Me too!" You smile back. The elevator door opens and you make it to her apartment.

     "Wooooow this is amazing!" You gush as she opens the door.
     "Thanks." You both make your way in.

     She shows you your room and the bathroom. You start to unpack a bit while she does who knows what. You get on your phone and inform your mom that you landed and that you were at the apartment. You text with her a bit then head into the living room.

     "Yea sure I'll ask. Byeeee." Kat finishes up on the phone.
     "Hey y/n! Wanna come hang out with Sam and his friends?" You nod. Kat has told you EVERYTHING about her boyfriend.
     "Cool! We are leaving now."
     "Ok, let me go grab my phone." You run to your room and grab your phone and purse. You run back out and see Kat ready to go.

     You both get in her car and head over to Sam's. He's having a small pizza party at his apartment. You were thankful you were invited, otherwise you'd be alone. You make it to the apartment building  and you both make your way to Sam's. Kat knocks and the door opens.

     "Sammy!" Kat goofily shouts while she hugs Sam.
     "Hi Kat." He laughs. You just stand back and smile.
     "Sam, this is y/n." You put your hand out for him to shake and he just grabs you in a hug.
     "Welcome to the family." He says and you laugh.
     "Thanks for having me." He nods and motions for you to enter. There were like 7 people all standing and looking at the door.
     "Hey guys, this is y/n, Kat's friend." Sam introduces you.
     "Hi y/n!" Is heard all around and you smile.
     "Hi guys."
     "Let me introduce them." Kat says form beside you. She points to one girl.
     "That's Devyn."
     "That's Tara."
     "That's Tori." She starts pointing at guys now.
     "Corey, Jake, Aaron, and Colby." You nod, taking in all the info.

     The rest of the night was spent laughing and eating. You got close with all the girls and you all planned to get together sometime. The whole night was super fun and relaxing. I think I'm gonna like it here, you think to yourself. You got everyone's number by the end of the night.
