Background info: You and Colby were on a mini road trip. You were five hours away from home. You started your drive at 9:00 pm, so you both planned to be home by 2:00am. You fell asleep in the car.

You were peacefully resting when you heard the screech of a tire. Next thing you know there's a big crash and you're out.

You hear the sound of a heart monitor and feel that you are no longer in the car. You can't open your eyes but you hear sniffles to the right of you.

"Y/n, this is all my fault, if I waited to stop for gas like I thought about you wouldn't be here." You don't recognize the voice but hear a door open.
"Dude, you need to eat something, I got you this weird hospital pudding. It's better than nothing." Another voice says.
"Yea, you haven't eaten barely anything in a week. She's strong, I know she will make it." You here a female voice say.

You try to open your eyes but you just can't. You hear the 2nd voice say bye and the door close. You try to open your eyes again, this time you are successful. You open your heavy eyelids and look to the right. In the chair sat Colby, looking tired and stressed.

"C-Colby?" You say barely above a whisper. His head shoots up.
"Y/n? You're awake!" He comes in for hug making sure to be gentle.

The other two people come in and they end up being Sam and Kat. They greet you and you hug. Colby begins to tell the story. About how you both were on the trip, he stopped to get gas, while the gas was pumping he went to get food, then a drunk truck driver ran straight into your side of the car. Sam and Kat have somewhere to be, so they leave and Colby goes to get the doctor. When the door latches everything goes dark.

You open your eyes and find yourself back in the car. Must have been a bad dream. You think to yourself. Suddenly the sound of tires screeching and turn your head to see a semi heading straight towards you.
