Background info: you are engaged to your amazing fiancé. You just found out you were pregnant and you're afraid to tell him. You decided to tell him and his reaction was different than expected.

     "Ryan, you ready for dinner?" You ask your fiancé as you walk into your apartment.
     "One second babe." You hear him call from the bathroom.
     "Ok." You sit down on the couch and wait for him. I hope he accepts it.
     "Ready?" He sticks his hand out for you to take.
     "Ready." You grab his hand and you guys walk out.

     You make it to the restaurant and get a seat. You're both chatting away about all sorts when the waiter brings your food. You both dig in and enjoy the delicious food. After dinner you decide to order a slice of cheesecake and you both happily enjoy it. You're almost ready to leave when you decide to break the news.

     "Ryan." You get his attention.
     "What's up?" He has a worried expression.
     "I- uh, I'm pregnant." You suck in a breath at his shocked expression.
     "You're joking right?" You shake your head no and he almost looks angry.
     "I'm not ready for a family! How did you get pregnant?! I don't want a kid." He shouts but calms down towards the end.
     "I know we aren't ready, but I know we can do it." You reach for his hand but he takes it back.
     "No, I can't. I can't raise a child. I won't. We can't stay together." And at that he got up and left. You feel tears sting your eyes and get up to leave.

     You only had the one car you shared with Ryan. You were saving for a car for yourself. You walk to some random hotel and pay for a room. You decide to get on your phone and look up jobs, you're going to need the money. There's a job at a local bakery so you apply and hope they accept.

     You fall asleep on the uncomfortable bed.

*morning*

      You wake up and decide to head over to your old apartment to pick up your things. You walk up to the door and knock. Ryan opens the door and looks surprised for half a second.

     "I just am here to collect my things." You say then sniffle. You're trying to hold back the tears, but they fall.
     "Ok." He steps to the side and you walk in trying to stop crying.

      You're packing your stuff up when you here the door open and close. You hear heels click and stop behind you.

     "Why are you in my boyfriend's apartment?" A feminine voice questions.
     "Your boyfriend?" You question, turning around.
     "Yea, we've been dating for 4 months." Your eyes widen and she gives a questioning look.
     "I was his fiancé he broke up with me yesterday because I got pregnant with HIS kid." She looks shocked.
     "He had a fiancé?" You nod your head and she turns from shocked to angry.
     "Ryan!" She shouts and turns around.
     "Yea babe what's-" he stops himself mid sentence as he sees us both staring angrily.
      "You had a fiancé?!" She shouts.
     "I can explain." She puts her hand up to stop him.
     "There's nothing to explain. You cheated on this lovely girl AND told me you were single. Now, I'll be helping her and leaving with her. We're over."
"Babe please!" Ryan pleads as you pack up the last of your stuff.
"Do not babe me. I do not date men who cheat to be with me." She says with a huff then grabs one of your bags.
"Let's go." She walks out and you follow behind.
"Y/n?" You hear quietly behind you. It hurts, you loved him.
"Ryan, you said yesterday, we aren't together anymore." You sniffle and rush out the door.
"What's your name?" You ask the girl, struggling to keep up with her long legs.
"Rebecca, everyone calls me Becca though." You nod.
"And yours?" She asks looking towards you.
"Y/n." She smiles.
"Pretty name." You smile.

You both walk into the garage and she lifts some of your stuff into a car, which you assume is hers.

"Do you have an apartment yet?"
"No."
"My room mate moved out if you'd like to move into her room?" She suggests. You hug her.
"That'd be great, thank you."

     You two get close and become best friends. She introduces you to her friends and you all are friends. It's been about 6 months so your stomach has grown quite a bit. The pregnancy really hasn't been rough but it's hard to imagine your child growing up without a dad. You have met a guy who you started to crush on, but you were afraid to make any moves. You were pregnant for goodness sake.

     "So you're telling me he left you when you told him you we're pregnant?" Kat, your new friend, asked in disbelief.
     "Yep." You reply shortly.
     "That's horrible, I'd never do that to a girl." Colby admits.
     "I can't imagine how you feel." Devyn says then gives you a hug.
     "Thanks guys, I'm better now though. Just kinda sad that my kid won't have a father." You admit to your friends.
     "Well, he will have plenty of aunties." Tara gushes.
     "And uncles." Jake adds.
     "Awww he will be the happiest little boy." You smile.

3 months later

     "Have you come up with a name for him?" The nurse asks you as she hands you your baby boy.
     "Nick Thompson y/l/n." You smile up at the nurse as she rights it down.
     "Omg y/n he's so cute." Becca gushes as she hugs you and your son.
     "Thank you for being here for me Becca." You hug back.
     "Anything for my bestie."

1 week later

     You're currently on a walk with Kat and Devyn with little Nick in the stroller. You have never felt so much happiness until you had your son. You start to see flowers along the sidewalk in the park and get confused.

     "This is where our journey ends, you must continue alone." Devyn says handing you a piece of paper. They both walk off and you open the paper with confusion.

     'Continue to follow the path until you see a crystal clear pond.' Read the note.

     You walked along with Nick looking at all the flowers and flower petals. You see a clear pond and look around to see Becca and Tara both pointing in one direction. You nod, confused, and continue on. You see a circle of flower petals and stop in the middle. There's a small tap on your shoulder and turn around. There stood Colby with a bouquet of beautiful flowers.

     "Y/n will you be my girlfriend?" He asks with hope in his voice. You smile.
     "Of course!"
