The gravel crackled and crunched under the weight of the jeep.  Our headlights lighting up the private driveway as we followed the parade of vehicles to Becca's vacation home on the outskirts of the city.  It was a two-hour drive but the privacy it afforded us was worth every passing second.  Prom had been exhilarating but I was more enthusiastic for what was to come.

Isaac had removed his tie immediately after the dance and undid the first few buttons on his dress shirt in an attempt to make himself more comfortable.  Music played quietly in the background as I admired the details of his face.  He had become so focused on the road ahead I think he was utterly unaware of my doting gaze.  His jaw had become more defined over the years, his once boyish features had transformed into that of a man.  My heart ached as it hit me how much of our lives had been spent apart.  Studying the new details, I realized just how much he had changed.  However, every day he showed me how much his heart never did.  His heart was just as kind and open as it had always been, he just needed to push aside his fears to realize it.

"We're here," he grinned as he put the vehicle into park.  We looked together at the large wooden cabin that was snuggly tucked away.  "What do Becca's parents do again?"  He laughed nervously as he eyed the large structure built from logs and stone, it was a home suited for the richest of taste.

"They own the law firm my mom works at, also her dad is amazing at investing his money wisely." With a smile I gripped his hand, trying to calm the nerves I saw surfacing behind his blue eyes.

"Yeah. I can see that."  He laughed nervously, "You ready?"

"Absolutely!"  I beamed before grabbing my bag from the back seat.  Hopping out I joined the others.  "Becca since you're taking the master can we take your room?"

"Duh!  Those other fuckers can fight for the scraps!"  She laughed loudly as she threw her arm over my shoulder, "Cheers to the fucking weekend my friend!"  We both were buzzing with excitement as we lead the charge up the stone steps to the front door.  She removed her arm from my shoulders only long enough to unlock the door and push it open.  "I called my brother and he did us a huge favor and stocked the house with a ton of alcohol and food."

"Of course, he did!  Because what are big brothers for?"

"My thoughts exactly!  Now I'm going to grab some drinks and take my man to our room for the night."  She winked as she detached herself from me and skipped off towards the kitchen.

Isaac's strong arms suddenly surrounded me from behind, burying his face into my neck he inhaled deeply.  "You smell amazing!"

"Thanks," my cheeks flushed a light shade of pink.  Charles and Sean filtered in behind us, Brittany tucked under Sean's arm.  They weren't a thing or anything, at least that's what he claimed.  He explained he simply felt bad for her and he didn't have anyone else to ask.  I wasn't thrilled about it by any means because I saw the way she still looked at Isaac.  She watched him like he was her prey and she was waiting to strike.  Isaac seemed downright oblivious to it, which made me relax slightly but it was a closeness I would never be comfortable with.

"What do you want to do?"  His lips brushed against my neck, sending shivers down my spine.

"Becca's room has a huge private bathroom with this massive jetted tub!"  My eyes gleamed with anticipation as my arms wrapped around his, pulling them tighter around me.  "A bubble bath sounds amazing, don't you think?"

"It does.  Shall I draw one up for you, love?"  He smirked before swooping me up bridal-style.  "Point me in the right direction."  He followed my instructions exactly and before long we were alone in the sanctuary of our own bedroom.  After setting me down gently on the bed he disappeared into the large marbled bathroom, the sound of running water soon echoing throughout the room.
