Chapter 25

"Say the meeting got cancelled." I say into the phone. Tony showed up for the meeting which I knew he would. "He wants to know why?" Jackson says into the phone. "Tell him some of the gang was sick and others had family stuff so we decided to meet up on Saturday instead" I say thinking back to my plan. "Fine but he wants us to come home and have a "family" dinner with him so you better be on your way to my house" he says before hanging up. This is going to be a fun night. I turn around and look at everyone and notice Cole and Morgan talking and what I think is flirting. "Okay everyone can go home now but expect a call tomorrow and clear your schedules on Saturday" I say while grabbing my stuff. Everyone leaves except Ryder. He grabs my waist and looks me in the eyes. "Are you going to be okay alone with Tony?" He asks. "I'll be okay. I promise if something happens you'll be the first person to know" I say giving him a weak smile. "Okay" He says before he kisses my forehead. That's little action makes butterflies go off in my stomach. What is up with this guy. He smiles down at me and I can't help but smile back.

I'm now on my way to a dinner I wish didn't exist. I walk into the house to be greeted with a very anxious Jackson and a smirking Tony. "Hey little cuz. Where were you?" Tony asks eying me down. "I was at a friends apartment" I say looking at him. "Oh does my little cousin have a boyfriend?" He asks trying tease me. I decide why not fuck around with him. "Actually I do" I say sitting next to Jackson. They both look at me with wide eyes. I give Jackson a look and he understands. "Who is it?" Tony asks with anger. Tony might do some bad things but he still cares about his family and is super overprotective about those he cares about. "No one you know" I say not giving Tony a second glance. "I want to meet him" Tony says with so much rage. "Fine" I smirk to him and text Ryder.

I smirk and reply
Mess with his head. Be here as quick as possible ;)
He replies again
Aye aye princess;)
I smile and put my phone away and walk back into the house and see Tony staring at me. "He's on his way" I say. "Good. I'm going to go cook dinner. Call me when the boyfriend gets here" he spits at us. I look at Jackson and see him smirking. "He's pissed" he says. "I know that's the point" I say sitting down next to him. "This is going to be a fun night" he says laughing.

I hear the door and walk to get it but Tony beats me to it. "Hey Ryder. What are you doing here?" He asks. Oh man this is going to be great. "My girlfriend called me" he says that's when Tony connects the dots. "Leave now!" He spits at Ryder. I roll my eyes and walk over and grab Ryder's hand and bring him in. I can see Tony fuming out of the corner of my eye. "No you can not date him" Tony says following us. "Why not? Please enlighten me why I can't date him?" I say trying to press his buttons. "He is a player. He'll use you then dump you without hesitation" he says glaring at Ryder. I look at Ryder and see him frown a bit. I wonder what the history is but right now I don't care. I grab Ryder's hand and kiss his cheek. "I trust Ryder so you'll have to trust my judgement. Okay?" I say looking at Tony. He sighs but before he walks away he looks me in the eyes and asks something that took me back a bit "do you love him?" He asks. I look between them two both are looking at me waiting for an answer. Then I notice Jackson looking at me. He mouths 'calm down. It's okay' . I breathe and say "no and you know I don't believe in that" I say glaring at Tony. He turns around and goes to the kitchen. I'm left there with Ryder who is staring at me with suspicion and Jackson who is smiling at me. This is going to be a long night.
