Chapter 20

We enter the warehouse to see Jackson and some other guys watching someone through a glass window. "What are we doing with him?" Jackson asks. "I'll be dealing with this for a little bit but first we need to talk" I say. I drag him and Ryder into Jackson's office. "They have files on all of your guys except me,Ryder and Cole. They know all of their weaknesses so they are useless for now. I called Vanessa and Morgan and they said they still do their training so they are in to help but they said they are not back in the gang. They wanted me to clarify that" I say waiting for Jackson to speak. "Okay anything else?" He says. "I also texted Tony off of Joey's phone and said we had a meeting on Thursday night and that some really important stuff is happening and that I will keep him updated" I say waiting for him to freak. "WHAT?" He says staring at me like I have 3 heads. "Exactly but we won't have a meeting Thursday we will be setting a trap. And we also have to pretend not to know anything tomorrow when Tony shows up at your house" I say as calm as possible. "He is not going to my house" he says with so much rage. "Do you want to end this now or start a war?" I ask giving him a look that says to trust me. "Fine but what's your plan for Joey?" He asks. "I have something but I'm going to need you to let me talk to him" I say.

I walk into the room with Joey to see him tied to a chair. "Darling you have to understand. They are wrong I'm not the mole." He says and it hurts that he can lie to me this easily. Well let's give him a taste to his own medicine. "I know Joey. I believe you and I'm talking to Jackson but I'm going to need you to tell me everything" I say giving him pleading eyes. "Fine Tony did ask me to be his mole but obviously I said no. I would never do that to you" He says looking at me with an emotion that is now time to crush. Ryder walks in and Joey looks at him in disgust. Perfect. "Princess you can't be talking to him" he says looking me straight in the eyes. I look at Joey and see him glaring at Ryder. "Babe please he's not the mole. You have to understand" I say giving a glance to Joey to see him fuming. "You two are together?" He asks with so much rage. "Yeah I just couldn't hide my love for him anymore" I say walking up to Ryder about to do something I never thought I would do. I kissed him. It wasn't a long kiss but even though it was fake it made butterflies erupt in my stomach. We pull away and smile at each other. I look back at Joey and see him crying. "What's wrong Joey?" I ask pretending to not know a thing. "How could you? I loved you so much more than you will ever know. And you go and do this. Tony was right you are all horrible human being. I'm glad I sold you guys out." I look at him with a smirk and walk up real close and say one word with so much determination it made Joey shudder. "Why?" I say. "Because I got no recognition here. Tony offered me a offer I couldn't refuse. But when you came back I made a deal that you wouldn't get hurt. I needed you not to get hurt. He agreed as long as you weren't too much trouble for him" he says still crying like the pathetic piece of trash he is. "Did you think I was just going to let him take over the gang willingly?" I ask with so much anger. "No I was going to distract you on the night of the big attack" he says then goes wide eyed when he realizes what he said. "When is this big attack" I ask. "I can't say Tony will kill me." He says. "If you don't tell us we'll kill you" Ryder spits at him. Joey looks at me and I nod my head. He sighs. And says "It was supposed to be on Saturday during our big celebration meeting". "Good to know. I'm done with you" I say grabbing Ryder's hand and walking back up the stairs. "Wait" I turn and look at him. "What" I ask. "What is going to happen with me?" He asks. "That's for me to know and you to find out" I say walking away with Ryder.

I walk back into the room and Ryder gives me a big hug. "We did amazing princess" he says. "I know I'm a natural liar" I say while hugging him back. He rolls his eyes whiling smiling down at me. "You guys did great and everything but can you guys flirt after we beat Tony" Jackson says. I roll my eyes and feel something vibrate in my pocket. I look and see it's a text from Tony. I look up at Ryder and Jackson and read the message aloud. "Great! My imbecile brother will have no clue but my bigger issue is little miss fighter. I know I promised not to hurt her but remember that's only if she stays out of my way. I'll be with her tomorrow though but not a hair on her head will be touched I'm a man of my word. Hope to hear from you tomorrow" I finish. "I'm going to kill him" Ryder says. I walk over to him and grab his shoulder and say "not until I say"
