Chapter 29

"Are you fucking crazy?" Vanessa screams at me. Everyone has been sitting here in silence watching me. Then Vanessa broke the silence. "No I'm Chloe" I say with a smile. "No you're are out of your mind" Morgan says walking up to me. She starts inspecting me and then stops and looks me in the eyes. "She seems sober but I'm not sure" she says after analyzing me. I roll my eyes and say "I haven't had a drink since senior year" I say watching them look at me with wide eyes. Everyone continues to sit in silence. I get tired of it and walk out the house for the second time today with my keys. They are wasting my time and I have things to do. I start heading to the warehouse. I get a call from Ryder and answer it. "Where the hell are you going now?" He screams at me. "Warehouse. Y'all were wasting my time sitting there staring so I'm going to talk to someone who might actually speak" I say hanging up. I know they'll be at the warehouse soon enough.

I walk into the warehouse ignoring everyone's questioning looks. I walk straight into the room holding someone who has information. I walk in and see Joey on a bed. He looks at me when I close the door. If you are wondering we are not starving him or anything. We just won't release him so he can go warn Brody. He is just locked in this room but he has food and water given to him throughout the day. "You need to tell me the truth. Now" I say looking at him. "What do you mean? I've given you nothing but the truth" he says with honesty. I look at him and decide to trust him for now. "Sit. We are going to talk" I say and sit down in the chair while he sits on his bed in front of me. "Brody. Does that name ring a bell?" I ask. He thinks about it before shaking his head negative. "Well he's the actual leader of the opposing gang not Tony" I say and see his eyes go wide. He's about to speak when I cut him off. "Tony is being blackmailed into working for that guy." I say. He looks shocked again. "We both know this guy from years ago just think about the name for a second" I say. He starts thinking then I see a lightbulb go off in his head. "The guy from the party" he says looking me straight in the eyes. I nod and tell him how he found me at another party a couple weeks ago. We sit there in silence until I have a thought. "Who's side are you loyal to?" I ask him. "I've always been loyal to you" He says and I believe him. "We need as much help as we can get. Just know though if you double cross us again I won't hesitate to kill you" I say while motioning for him to follow me. He nods and does as told.

I walk out the room to see everyone I left earlier today watching with shock as I bring Joey with me. "You are going to trust this guy?" Ryder asks with anger. "I don't have a choice. We need all the help we can get" I say walking past them to Jackson's office to make a plan. Everyone follows me in and just stares at me. I'm tired of them just staring at me. "Okay enough staring. I have jobs for everyone but I need you all back here by 8" I say standing up from the desk. "Vanessa and Jackson I want you to collect the guys I picked for tomorrow and have them here by 8. Morgan and Cole I want y'all to go get as many weapons as you can get from Jackson's and anywhere else we have some. Tony and Joey you guys need to go get Tati and get her here as quick as possible." I say finishing off. Everyone nods and heads out the door. Ryder looks at me with a questioning look. "You and me are going to meet an old friend of mine" I say standing up with Ryder following.
