There was a calmness in Winterfell this evening. There wasn't any commotion, only the sounds of the fire places crackling. The snow was falling heavily outside through the window, with the slight sounds of the northern winds.

Daenerys sat by the fire in her chambers, staring at the fire and how the bark slowly peeled from the branch as it burned. She thought about Drogon and Rhaegal, she missed them. They didn't prefer the north, so they have been flying towards warmer areas. She missed their company, but she knew they were safe. The Dorthraki have seen them on the move. The Dorthraki have reported they are eating and are well, that's all that mattered to her, the safety of her children.

As well as this little one in her growing belly.

As Daenerys sat by the fire, the sound of her chamber doors slightly creaked, as if someone had entered. She turned her head slowly to see who it was, it was Jon. She smiled towards him, placing her hands on her belly. "I was wondering if you were ever going to come see us today" she said kindly. Jon closed the doors behind him, "I got quite caught up...with counselling" Jon replied.

He walked towards Daenerys, and she got up as well. They both met in the middle of the room. They were so close to one another, they could feel each others breathe. Daenerys leaned in to kiss him, but he pulled back very slightly, but she noticed it. "Whats wrong?" she asked Jon concerned. He took a deep breath, worried if he might get an answer he didn't want to know. He grabbed one of her hands tightly and looked down at the ground first then looked up at her. "Have any of my men ever harmed you or touched you in anyway?" She looked at him, sensing that something to do with this question is bothering him. "Of course not, never" Daenerys responded placing her other hand on his cheek.

He was happy about that response, he nodded his head slightly in relief. He then had another question in mind that Little finger had lodged into his head. "I've been told by a few people recently, and have noticed...that many of my men look at you in a way they should not, in a way that only I should be looking at you" he had a hard time telling her. She pulled him closer, and directed his head towards her eyes, comforting him. "Those men may look all they want, but they will never get what you have" she smiled at him, caressing his cheek. Jon smiled back comforted, and placed his hand on her belly, feeling the growing bump.

Jon was looking down at their little miracle "You know, I never asked. How did you find out about our little one?" Daenerys smiled and looked up at him. "I didn't. Missandei made me question what my illness may really be about, and she was right." Jon smiled back up at her and pulled her closer by the waist. "Daenerys whispered laughing "the timing didn't quite make sense to me.. but then...." Jon pulled himself back a bit from Dany. He remembered Little Finger told him earlier in the day that the timing of the child doesn't quite add up to when she could have conceived. "You didn't think the timing made sense?" Daenerys stoped laughing and looked at Jon quite worried, she didn't understand why he was acting this way. Daenerys shook her head in confusion, looking down towards the ground then at him "no, but then Missandei...." Jon barged in "then Missandei, what? Did she also convince you that the timing made sense, even though it doesn't?"

Daenerys was not understanding what Jon was trying to get at. He kept interrupting her when she tried to tell him that this child wasn't conceived on their wedding day here in Winterfell, but actually on the boat here.

Daenerys tried to pull him in to assure him that there are no questions of who the father is to her child. But Jon pulled away, looked down towards her belly upset and disappointed, then turned and walked away from her.

Leaving Daenerys in an emotional and broken state.
