"So, this is my son, Chill. And I'm Seal. I'm so sorry, it must have slipped my mind. I can't believe I forgot to tell you our names," the female IceWing, Seal, talked on, trying to distract Robin's mom. She wasn't as sad as Robin expected. She just hung her head in sadness as they took off into the sky, headed for Seal's house. She also let out the occasional silent tear.

"So... are you going to tell us your names?" Seal asked.

"Oh sorry. I'm Carmine and this is Robin," Robin's mom's voice was a little wobbly as she talked, but she hadn't burst into tears, like Robin had thought she would. Robin herself flew beside her mother, swooping in and out to pat her on the back comfortingly. Chill, she noticed, hadn't said anything this whole time or introduced himself to her. He had hardily even looked at her.

Well, if he's going to ack like that, I guess I will say hi FIRST! That will show him! Robin though as they started to land. Seal's house was smaller then Robin's old house. It was make of stone, painted light icy blue with a light grey roof. The lawn held only a few white flowers by the door.

"Hellos to you," Robin said kind of rudely, walking up to Chill.

"Oh, hi," he said, giving her a small smile.

"Excuse me! That is no way to treat a lady!" Chill's face fell.

"Well, I thought it was friendly and happy," he replied.

"NO! The number one, the boy is supposed to say hellos first. And the number two, you don't just say 'oh hi'! You need to say hellos like you mean it!"

"Okay then," he said in a bored voice, as if he thought her lecture was not worth his time. "Hellos to you." He walked in a dignified manner toward the door.

"Look, they're getting along already," Seal said to Carmine with a laugh as they entered the house as well.

How dare he! He must know how you treat a lady! Mom said the key to a good wrelationship, whatever that is, is to treat a lady right. A wrelationship must mean some kind of boat, and she said wrelationship are important, so maybe we have to build a boat together or something. Maybe that's how you get married. You build a boat and then when it's done, you are married and the boat travels to egg land and brings you back an egg to raise into a baby dragonet... Robin's thoughts trailed into one meaningless train as she started toward the door. But all thoughts were forgotten when she stepped inside.

"Wow! Why is this place so moon blastingly COLD!" She yelled. "It's FREEZING! How can anyone survive this COLD!" Both moms almost fell to the floor, laughing so hard. Even Chill was giggling to himself. The house had a semi spacious living room that opened up into a small kitchen, with a small dining table dividing them. The one hallway down the middle held four doors.

"Chill, go show Robin around the house," Seal said to him. Chill took her around the living room and kitchen, then showed her the four rooms. The first was Seal's room. The only two things it held were a bed with a white blanket and a desk, with room to spare. On the ceiling, some diamond shaped lights hung. The room itself was the same light icy blue colour as the outside of the house. The room right across from it was Chill's room. It held a large nest made of blankets and pillows, a small table and a toy box. It also had diamond shaped lights and the walls were the same colour as Seal's room, but decorated with painted snowflakes. The room right beside that was the bathroom, and across from that, a storage closet. Chill opened the closest and pulled down an extra blanket. He then handed it to her. Robin gratefully wrapped it around her shoulders. She then grabbed another one for her mom as well. Seal was trying to cheer Carmine up when they got back, patting her shoulder and saying reassuring things to her. Robin tossed the large sapphire blue blanket over her moms back. She looked up, thanked her, and lowered her head again sadly.

Robin still found it strange that she wasn't crying her heart out. She thought Carmine loved her dad more then that. He always treated her nicely, even if he was more then a little cruel to Robin herself. That was why Robin wasn't sad at all about his death.

The rest of the day passed quickly. The four ate dinner and soon enough, it was bed time. Carmine was to sleep on the couch while Robin and Chill shared Chill's large bed. That night, laying on one side of the bed with Chill on the other, still with the soft white blanket he'd given her, Robin had trouble sleeping.
