"Well, it turns out I can fly across a whole continent, and not die," Canopy grinned. "Never doing it again, though."
"You do know you have to fly back to the rainforest, right?" Robin tilted her head at him.
"I mean after that," Canopy sighed, sitting down.
"This place is certainly... Different," Another RainWing said, looking around.
"Oooh, who's that!" Lemon asked, pointing to a gap in the buildings where the red SkyWing was emerging from the shadows.
"That's my friend, Torch," Robin grinned. "And Torch, this is Lemon... Paradise I believe, Canopy... I think your name started with a C or an S or something..."
"Ceiba," she frowned.
"And I don't think I've seen the rest of you..." Robin sighed in defeat.
"He's handsome," Lemon whispered absentmindedly, staring at the male SkyWing.
"What? Lemon, help," Robin gave him a pleading look, twitching her wing towards the other RainWings.
"Oh, did I say that out loud?" The small dragon turned an embarrassed light pink. "Um, you remember Paradise, Canopy and Ceiba? This is Extravagant, I introduced her to you on your trip. There's also Mantis and Tropic, who you've met, and Honeydew an Cantaloupe, who you haven't."
"Nice to meet you," Honeydew grinned, walking over and hugging the SkyWing. Her scales were a light green, with spots of light pinks and oranges. She rushed back and pulled Cantaloupe towards the orange and red SkyWing.
"Hello there. You've made that flight before? Because it's awful!" He frowned. His scales were the opposite of Honeydew's, mostly light orange with light green and blue spots.
"Nice to see you again," Canopy smiled, waving to her.
"What was your name again?" Tropic, she believed, asked. He was flopped on the ground, his yellow and orange scales soaking in the sunlight.
"I'm Robin, and this is Torch," Robin pointed to herself, then her friend, in turn.
"And that's Summer," Torch pointed up at a pale orange shape flying towards them.
"There you are!" Summer grinned, nudging Torch with her wing. "Why are there so many RainWings here?"
"These are Robin's friends," Torch shrugged "if I remember correctly, it's Lemon, Paradise, Extravagant, Mantis, Tropic, Honeydew, Cantaloupe, and Ceiba, I believe."
"Wow..." Lemon whispered. He was all shades of pink, and seemed to be blushing.
"What, you like what you see?" Torch put a smug face on, walking over and patting his shoulder.
"Yes!" Lemon whispered.
"Sorry, buddy. I don't swing that way," he replied nonchalantly, removing his talon whilst keeping the same smug expression.
"Oh," some lines of sad blue crossed his scales, but they all mostly shifted to yellow, with a few pink splotches, while his wings seemed to turn all colours of the rainbow, but in light pastel shades.
Robin felt a small tickle on her tail, and as she flicked it away, something grabbed it, making her jump. That was followed by a loud laugh, and a gold RainWing fell over laughing.
"Don't mind them. They're pranksters," Lemon sighed.
"So, where are you staying?" Robin asked.
"Well," Ceiba stepped forwards. "We were planning on staying in that forest area you said was around here. We brought our hammocks. Just thought it would be more homely.
"Oh, ya. There are two RainWings who live here, and they live together right next to the forest. Iguana and Orange, if you've heard of them." Summer smiled.
"Oh, so that's where they went. My other friend's aunt is Orange. He didn't want to come, though," Mantis looked down.
"So, show us around," Paradise was smiling. "I want to meet your boyfriend."
"Alright, although I don't think he'd like you calling him that," Robin giggled, walking of while the others followed. She knew Chill was out with Toad, so she checked the treehouse first.
"Hey Robin," Toad glanced up. "Who is that?"
Robin glanced to her side, where only Lemon stood. Streaks of frustrated orange striped his back.
"If I could, I would," he muttered.
"This is Lemon, and there's supposed to be more of these guys around here somewhere, but they're in camouflage," Robin sighed, looking around.
"Hey!" Chill began swatting at the air. The three other dragons watched, until the blue and silver IceWing grabbed something invisible and held on as it tried to jerk away.
"Hey, are you my boyfriend?" Paradise said in an almost perfect Robin impression, changing her scales to match the orange of the SkyWing, with her red underbelly and lighter orange wings.
"What! I already told you, NO!" Chill hissed, whipping his head around. As he was distracted, Cantaloupe, the RainWing he was holding onto, changed his scales to match Chill's.
"Oh, that's right, I'm you," She replied in her Robin impression. The reds and oranges drained out, and blues and silvers replaced them. The others followed her lead, all materializing as Chill.
"Stop that!" Chill growled, letting go of Cantaloupe and rushing to the where Robin, Toad, and Lemon stood. The seven other RainWings changed back to their regular colours, laughing loudly.
"That was fun," Extravagant grinned, flicking her lime green and light pink tail. "Got any fruit around here?"
"Oh, ya. There's this vegetarian place in town," Toad nodded his head. "Really good food. Follow me!"
