Chill took a cooking class. He liked the smells and bad meals he could prepare. He also liked that a NightWing in that class liked him.

Toad had her in two classes, and he reported her saying she liked IceWings. Particularly Chill.

So, in order to try and get Robin off his back again, he tried to be friendly to the NightWing.

Chill patted the empty seat next to him at the beginning of the class, looking into her black eyes. She looked like any generic NightWing, with black scales and and an off-white underbelly. The only thing that made her stand out a bit was a small purple and greenish cloudy looking mark on one wing, almost like a mini galaxy.

"Oh, um... Thank you. My name is Rogue. What about you?" She asked, being cautious while sitting down, in case the seat wasn't for her.

"I'm Chill. So..." Chill stuttered to a halt, his brain failing to come up with anything to talk about.

"Okay class, today we'll be learning to bake blueberry pie," the teacher announced, breaking the awkward silence.

"So, it's true. I was told IceWings scales emit cold, but I wasn't sure," Rogue smiled, tracing a talon over his arm. "I think that's so cool!"

"Oh, thank you?" Chill wasn't sure how he should respond to that. "I'm guessing your not from here? Because we don't have many NightWings here. And quite a few IceWings.

"Oh, no. I moved here at the beginning of last school year. There just weren't any IceWings I was able to get close to. My family still doesn't like Glory. They don't want to be ruled by some childish RainWing who thinks she's all that. Their words, not mine," Rogue said, whilst copying notes onto a spare scroll.

"Oh. I've lived here all my life. My mom just liked the sound of the small town. She doesn't like Winter, though. I've asked her before, and she said its because of some petty argument over bills or something. Adult stuff, as she put it."

The two chatted while they prepared the pie. Rogue definitely wasn't the most interesting dragon Chill knew, but at least she wasn't out of this world boring.

"So, you ask her out yet?" Toad asked after class.

"I will, I will. Tomorrow, maybe," Chill replied, looking towards the ground. He didn't really like Rogue, but she wasn't Robin, and anything that wasn't Robin was okay.

"Hey, Chill!" Robin called, running up behind the two.

"Oh no," Chill whispered to his light brown MudWing buddy.

"You know those LeafWing dragons that kinda lived in the Ice Kingdom? ONE OF THEM IS COMING TO THE SCHOOL! And he's bringing another dragon from a tribe called the BeeWings or HiveWings or something!"

"Oh ya? How do you know this?" Chill replied, acting like he didn't care, while inside, he was excited.

LeafWings. Actual LeafWings! The same LeafWings that live on the other continent! I wonder what he'll be like? If he'll have any stories about the continent. And the other tribe. What were they like?

"Really? That's awesome!" Toad grinned. "Can't wait to meet them. What do these BeeWings look like?"

"Probably like bees," Robin giggled. "I'm not sure. Torch just said they were coming, but not what they look like. I can't wait!

"Do you know where they're moving to? Which house, I mean?" Chill asked.

"Somewhere on the edge of town, I think. I saw a house with boxes around the front of it there, so that might be them. I didn't see them, but I saw the boxes."

"Let's go find them!" Toad was smiling widely. "I wanna see LeafWings in person!"

"I'll need to get Torch for that. He knows more about them then I do," Robin replied. "Follow me!"
