The friendly new dragon with candy: Robin

A SkyWing, sitting beside Robin, growled loudly, shredding the corner of his paper. Their teacher had just assigned the class new seats, as she did every month. They were a month into the new school year, and Robin liked her new class. She was glad she had Slush with her, but she seemed more aggressive and down lately.

But this dragon beside her was starting to get on her nerves.

"Excuse me, can you please stop growling at your paper? It's kind of annoying," Robin asked politely.

"No, because this work is stupid and I hate it," the dragon growled, looking up at her. He had bright red scales, with duller orange wings and the same colour underbelly. He also had a slim build, but was strong. On his head sat a small brown hat in between his horns. He was definitely handsome, but Chill still looked better in her eyes.

"Well, can you do it quieter? I'm trying to study."

"Fine. Also, the answer to number six is D, not C," he pointed to the multiple choice question on Robin's work scroll. "A little confusing."

"Oh, thanks," Robin glanced at the question before changing it. It was something about desert snakes. She continued on with her work, and, at the end, handed it in. The other dragon looked at her, then handed her a small candy.

"I keep a stash of these," he told her, popping one in his mouth. "What's your name, anyways? I'm Torch."

"Oh, thanks. I'm Robin," Robin told him, popping the candy in her mouth. It tasted sweet.

"No problem," he replied. "My dad likes these too."

"You wanna hang out after class. I can introduce you to my friends. I'm sure you'd like them," Robin offered.

"Oh, sure. I don't think Tupelo would mind. He has other friends, as well. I'd love to," Torch grinned. He was a bit taller then Robin, and he had a charming smile. She could tell the two would be good friends.

They chatted as they waited the last few minutes for the bell to ring. Once it did, she easily found the group of MudWing siblings, and Chill along with them.

"Hey, guys. I have someone you might wanna meet. His name's Torch," Robin exclaimed as Torch stepped beside her. He immediately glared at Oak, who had been glaring at him.

"So... Tag? Lilypad asked after Robin had introduced her new friend to them.

"Ya, sure," Goose grinned. She nudged Robin's shoulder with her talon jokingly. "You're it."

"Oh, it's on!" she shrieked at the others, launching herself in the sky. The others followed. They played an epic game of tag. Torch was definitely the fastest out of them all.

"Okay, see you tomorrow," Torch grinned at her as they left for home after the school day was over.

"Ya, see you," Robin grinned.

Seal, like always, was still at her medical training class when she got home, and Carmine was out at her job. Chill had dropped off his stuff and headed out, probably to go hang out with Lily. Robin sat down at the desk in Chill's room. They still shared a bed, and Robin didn't mind at all. She carved away at a small ball of clay, turning it into a very poorly made SkyWing. She already made an IceWing one, a few days ago. It was a fun new hobby.

"Hello! Anyone there?" A voice called from the door.

"I am," Robin poked her head out from the door. Seal held h deer and two birds in her talons.

"Where's Chill?" she asked.

"Out with friends," Robin answered. Seal had become like a second mom to her, as Carmine had become to Chill.

Seal Quickly chopped the deer into pieces, storing the rest in the ice box with all the other extra meat, for the other two.

The two sat, Robin roasting her food, while Seal froze hers. It was quiet. Chill came back just as they finished, with Carmine coming home a few minutes after him.

It was just another ordinary night, with the family brushing their teeth and heading to bed once the sun went down. Robin, as usual, cuddled up to Chill, who didn't care anymore, and they fell asleep.

It was unexpected, though, when they were awoken by someone knocking on their window early the next morning.

"Huh, what's that?" Chill asked sleepily, pushing Robin off him and opening the window. Goose, Wetland, and Mahogany stood there.

"Chill, Robin, have you seen Lily anywhere?" Mahogany asked. "She didn't come home last night."
