The tornado seemed to last forever. And as Robin hung on to her mother, surrounded by half the town, they waited. Neither Robin nor Chill could find Slush, but Toad and his family were here. A few dragonets were crying, and a few pet scavengers were screaming. It felt like a few hours, and probably was, before the tornado finally cleared up.

"Alright, OUT. Get out of my bunker!" Old Grumpy shouted from the back of the room. "I've tolerated you all long enough in here! Out!"

"I'm scared to see the damage," Robin glanced at Chill, then walked outside.

"It didn't sound too bad," Chill muttered.

"What! Did you not here those loud thunks? Those sounded bad!" Robin stated, as Chill climbed outside.

"You mean the loud thunks caused by these things," Chill replied, throwing a small ball of ice at her. It took her a moment to realize it was a hailstone. The ground was covered in them.

"Let's look around," Carmine said, taking off and flying around. Both dragonets followed her.

The tornado didn't do much damage. It only traveled on the outskirts of the town, and damaged a few stone bricks in the pathway, as well as throwing around lighter items. Most of the houses around the area were left untouched, the ones that were only had minor damage.

"Oh, that wasn't too bad," Robin said happily. "I thought it would have destroyed the whole town."

"Can we go home, now?" Chill asked. "I don't like flying in the rain."

"This is, like, the lightest rain ever! It's so easy to fly through," Robin nudged him, flying off towards home.

"Wait, what's that?" Chill pointed to a glass box sitting on their doorstep. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be Echo's tank.

"Wait, did Slush leave that here? Why?" Robin turned to her mom, who was frowning.

"I don't know? Go see," Carmine replied, landing.

There was a note attached to the tank, scribbled hastily.

Dear Robin and Chill:

I'm done. I can't live my life like this anymore. I hate being a kid here. I'd much rather be out in the wild, exploring new areas and maybe finding new species of animals. I don't know exactly where I'm going, but don't go looking for me, because I'm already gone. Please take care of Echo, and please don't think any different of me in about a day or so. You two and Toad were the best friends I've ever had, and I will miss you a lot. Maybe we'll meet again someday, but until then, enjoy your life, as you only have one.

-Slush

"What!" Chill shouted, looking at the paper. "Where is she going? What does she mean 'don't think of me any different in about a day?' What did she do?"

"Can I read that?" Carmine asked, pointing at the paper.

"Oh, um, sure," Robin replied, passing her the paper. After reading it, Robin's mom's face gained a shocked expression, while Robin snatched the note back, reading over it again. "I guess we have to wait a day for whatever Slush doesn't want us to think of her differently to happen."

"What? That sentence made no sense?" Chill stared at her.

"You know what I mean," Robin frowned at him. "Let's take this thing inside."

The three dragons carried the glass tank into Robin and Chill's room, where they set it on top of a desk, and waited.

It only took a day, before the newspaper reported something about Slush.

"Mom, what does it say?" Robin asked, tugging on the newspaper. Her mom let it go, and Robin grabbed it.

Dragonet found dead in her home, possibly linked with missing dragonet case! The headline declared. Robin took a breath, before continuing.

After the events of the small tornado, a MudWing-SkyWing hybrid dragonet, locally known as Amber, was found dead in her home. After a short investigation, the 3-year-old dragonet appeared to be beaten to death with a brick, found next to her body. She also had scratch marks that appeared to be those of an IceWings, all over her body. Detectives believe she was murdered by 2-year-old IceWing dragonet, Slush. The dragonet disappeared during the time of the tornado, leaving behind a note for her father, stating she was leaving. An investigation of her room turned up various illegal drugs, with most of them already having been consumed. We still don't know where she obtained all these drugs, but if you have any leads, let us know.

The bottom of the page held two sketches, one of Amber, and one of Slush.

"What's that?" Chill asked, appearing beside Robin. "Is that news on Slush?"

"Yes," Robin replied, handing him the paper. She felt a bit sick. Slush, their cheerful, happy friend, Slush, murdered a dragon while possibly high on drugs.

"Oh... Wow," Chill lowered his head a bit. "I guess that explains why she always looked tired. But, she murdered a dragon. Even if it was our enemy, she murdered a dragon. I could never imagine doing that."

"Me nether," Robin replied, frowning.

She still couldn't believe that sweet, innocent little Slush would take illegal drugs, much less kill a dragon.
