Now, how exactly are we taking Amber down?: Toad

Over the next few days, the school had erupted into utter chaos. Dragons wearing scarves and jewelry of either green, red, or pink wandered around, with the two teams glaring at each other whenever members crossed paths. Amber's group took over the roof, and the small field in front of the dark area, while Toad's roamed around the main hangout areas on the ground.

And Toad was now the leader of about half the school.

"Toad," Robin grinned, stopping to glare at a young dragonet wearing a silver necklace with a pink, heart-shaped locket. The small SeaWing glared back.

"Yes?" Toad replied, adjusting the green bandana around his neck.

"Well, Amber's team is trying to push forwards, territory-wise," Robin frowned. "We can't let that happen."

"Well, go tell that to Tupelo, and tell him to tell others not to give up land." Toad replied.

Toad kept walking, reaching the end of the school hall and heading outside. He had to walk the far way around, to avoid Amber's team. As soon as he got outside, he was met with a small, young SkyWing, who was grinning up at him.

"Are you Toad?" She asked. She had dark orange scales, with dark red highlights. Two hastily made, green wires ran around both her front talons, in a single line.

"Yes, I am," Toad smiled down at the young dragonet.

"I made this for you!" She grinned, handing him a crown made from cardboard and coloured green. "You have to stop those bullies. I believe in you!"

"Thank you so much," Toad grinned, taking the crown and placing it on his head. It fit loosely between his horns.

"Toad, there you are!" Chill smiled, motioning for his buddy to come over. Chill wore a green and blue bandana, which was the only green thing he claimed to find. Robin, on the other talon, had found some green ribbon and twinned it around her horns.

"Treehouse? After school?" The blue and silver IceWing asked.

"Sure," Toad smirked.

"Nice hat, where'd you get it?" Chill giggled.

"Some little dragonet gave it to me. What, you don't like it or something?"

"No, the bright green just doesn't really suit your scales," Chill shrugged. "Anyways..." The two continued talking until lunch break ended, and then went back to class until school ended.

"Let's go?" Chill asked, packing his few school objects.

"Let's go!" Toad replied. The two flew off towards the treehouse, with Robin following them.

"So... How exactly are we going to take the bullies down?" Chill asked, looking between the two.

"Well, I wanna give them a taste of their own medicine," Toad growled quietly.

"So... just beat them up, too?" Robin gave him a sideways glance.

"Maybe. Maybe we could also convince some of the dragons on their side to come to our side," Toad shrugged. "I know most of the dragons on that team are dragonets who're scared of what Amber'll do to them if they join our team.

"Okay," Robin agreed. "Maybe give out free cookies? Dragonets like cookies."

"Eh. Anyways, what do you wanna do?" Toad asked.

"I dunno. Maybe a board game?" Chill shrugged.

And so, the three found a suitable game, and played for the rest of the day. Once it was time for the two to leave, Toad went back inside.

"How're you doing today?" His mom asked, halfheartedly, reading the morning paper, despite the fact it was the evening. She had told him her MudWing "friend" was either moving in, or they were moving to his place.

"Good," Toad sighed. He poked his head into the room with the eggs. They were huddled up and looked comfy.

"Dinner's on the table!" His mom called.

"Okay," Toad replied, heading to the table. His mother joined him. His mom was somewhat good at cooking, and he enjoyed the vegetable stew she made. After, as it was quite late, he got ready and went to bed, knowing he was safe from Amber's talons... For now.
