Finally, a bit of peace, Chill thought as he walked over to Toad's house. It was four houses down from his and across the street. The only bad part was walking past that old grumpy SeaWing that lived two houses down. He always sat on his porch, glaring at passing dragons and shouting at children. No one knew his name, but all the kids just called him Old Grumpy, or Grump for short.

"You stay off my lawn!" he shouted at Chill as he walked by. His washed out green scales were hidden in the shadows, with only his dark green eyes clearly visible. "Don't throw your fish bones in my yard! Go away!" Chill shook his head as he walked by.

"You're back," Toad cried, trying to look as surprised as possible.

"Oh quit it,'' Chill said, batting him aside. Toad's house was made of dark brown wood, with wooden furniture. It was about the same size as Chill's house, which was small. After grabbing a snack, they headed to Toad's backyard. It was super muddy, with a tall tree. In the tree, was a relatively large tree house. Toad, holding on to his half a cow (Yes, half a cow is what he considered a snack), began climbing the latter. Chill, holding on to his duck, followed.

"It's so nice to have a break from Robin," Chill said as they got comfortable on the cushions spread across the floor. "She's so clingy. She's a good dragon, but man."

"Lucky," Toad replied. "I wish I had a girlfriend like that," he winked.

"Ew, no. That's disgusting Toad. I don't care how much she likes me, I will not be her girlfriend!"

"Sure," Toad replied, lightly punching him in the shoulder. "Tell that to me in ten years when you're married with dragonets."

"Tough luck," Chill wrinkled his snout. He would never admit it to anyone, not even Toad, who was his best friend, but he was growing close to Robin. But he didn't like her like that! Or did he? No, that's gross, she's only my friend! One day, I will find a nice dragon, hopefully one not as clingy as Robin, but for now, just no.

"Fine," Toad rolled his eyes.

"Take her, She's all yours, if you want her," Chill said.

"I don't think she would allow that. I would have to pull you away from her cold, dead talons before she would even consider it," he said, almost sadly.

"Well, I'm sure you will find someone like her in your future," Chill said awkwardly. "Now, lets read some comic scrolls.

The two boys shared comics and snacks. After a while, they got bored, so they played in the mud in the backyard. Chill had to leave a bit earlier, as to wash the mud off his scales. He flew over to the lake, scrubbing his scales.

"Oh hello, A voice behind Chill said. He turned around. A pretty white IceWing sat behind him on the beach. She smiled at him. "My name is Slush. Whats yours?"
