Paralyzed with fear, all I could do was stare at the door. Suddenly, the knocking had stopped. I wobbled to my door and slowly opened it. I had a perfect view of the main door, underneath it I could see light and shadows.

Just with one whiff, I knew that it wasn't Noboru. By looking at the shadow it seems that there are two people standing outside my door.

I could hear the muffled voices but I couldn't tell what they were saying. Immediately, Noboru's voice began to echo in my head.

"Run....RUN!" it screamed.

The knocked started to continue again, this time they were hitting the door with so much force that it was starting to crack. I hurried to my room, put on a wig and grabbed my bags. I dropped them from my window and began to lower myself down.

Right when my legs were dangling on the window, the door finally broke down. Two men rushed in the house and began to search through the rooms. One of them bust down my door and grabbed onto my arm right when I let go of the ledge.

"You're not going anywhere!" the old man laughed.

I had no choice but to use my kagune. With one of the blades, I tried to stab his arm but he quickly let me go. I was free falling straight toward a dumpster. My body crashed down on the bags and boxes.

The impact made my body go numb. Pain surged everywhere, I gasped for breath and whimpered in pain. But I had to get up. I looked up and noticed the old still there. He pulled out his briefcase and began to rummage through it.

Once I recognized what was in his hand, I mustered up the strength to push myself up. I jumped out the dumpster and began to ran as fast as I could. I looked back and saw that the old man was sprinting his way toward me.

When I looked ahead, there was another guy standing by a lamppost. He too had a weapon in hand. I stopped myself and stood between the two.

"You're right, as always." the younger man smirked.

"I knew that there was something suspicious with that man." the old man chuckled.

"Man?" Where these two spying on Noboru? "YOU BASTARDS! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!"

"Look out, Mado! You're antagonizing her!" the young man yelled.

Within a split second, the old man charged toward me right when I let out my kagune. I had out four legs, I used on pair to help me move around and the other as weapons.

For an old guy, he was pretty fast. It was hard to keep an eye out for both of them. And to top that off, I still haven't eaten yet. With one hit of the guy's hammer, I went flying into a building. I hit it so hard that I fell right through it.

Bricking from the wall, covered my whole body. I pushed off the rumble and limped up the stairs. When I heard the two men come in, I used my legs to climb on the walls.

"Mado, I'm sorry but it looks like I gave her an escape route." the young man mumbled.

"Not to worry, Amon, because she's still here." the geezer laughed.

"What are you talking about?"

"She's still here. Based on your training, what kind was she?"

"The location of her kagune tells me that she was a Koukaku."

"Then she couldn't have gone that far. Besides I can sense her anger in this room."

The geezer looked up to the ceiling, his eyes were darting all over the place.

"You know, missy, your friend was a pretty gifted fighter as well. A very strong opponent."

I could feel my blood bubble up inside of me. My knuckled turned white, my teeth clenched tightly and my eyes burned with rage. I swung down from the ceiling and tackled down his partner.

Both of us, pushed through the other wall and tumbled down the street. Cars were rushing past us, several slammed the brakes once they saw the structure sticking out of my back.

I walked over to the closest car and with my legs, I picked it up and threw it over to the man. However, with his hammer, he hit it over back at me. I jumped out of the way and rolled over to the next lane. Right when I stepped on the cement, a bright light rammed right into me.

My head banged onto the hard surface of the car, the driver's face was filled with fear once he saw my eyes open. His car crashed on the side, it was barely hanging onto the cliff of the road.

I laid still on the car. There was no way for me to move without causing this car to fall.

"Freeze kid, don't make this harder for yourself. There's no point in running."

I looked up and noticed that the two doves were standing right in front of me.
