Chapter 6 part 2

I kept lunging my attacks at them so they had no time to reach in their suitcases. The old man had some brute strength, he whacked one of my blades and quickly took out his brand new weapon.

This one looked as though he was fighting with a spine. To my surprise this weapon was far more difficult to fight against. It's speed was far too difficult for me to handle. Out of the blue, his partner came out and clubbed me to the ground.

I coughed out blood into my hands. I touched my back and felt that it was badly bruised. I haven't eaten anything in a while so healing is going to take a long time. Since my legs were tired, I used my kagune to run away.

I climbed up the buildings walls and tried to move as fast as I can. Sadly, it still wasn't enough. I jumped from building to building, trying to shake them off. I needed to eat something, so I could heal and kill them.

I looked down and saw a man taking out the trash. Free falling down, I landed on top of him and began to eat as much as I can. With something in my stomach, I debated on whether it was right to leave or kill them.

Since I haven't fought in a while and my injuries were still bad, I decided to bail on the idea. But then the old man was directly above me, he jumped down and actually cut off on of my kagune's legs. He cut it, right from it's root. I screamed on the top of my lungs, my back was bleeding profusely and my shoulder was ringing with pain.

With my other three blades, I stabbed the brick walls and pulled them down. The old man, Mado was forced to move out of the way if he didn't want to get crushed. I simply formed a cage with my kagune and minimal damage.

With the smoke still in the air, I used this time to escape. I ran into the darker parts of the alley and stayed there until I felt that I was safe. I hid with the trash cans, hoping that they'd have no trace of me.

I was far too scared to move, so I slept there til morning. When the sun came out, I struggled to lift myself up. If I walked out, surely people will notice the blood stains on my clothes. I limped to one of the apartment windows and broke into a random house.

Luckily, no one was inside. I searched through their closests and wore a loose hoodie to cover my wounds. I also took a pair of shades to cover the bruises on my face. I kept my hood up and avoided any eye contact and speaking until I reached home.

Once I finally arrived, I collapsed on the floor and was surrounded by his workers. Within a few seconds, I blacked out.

Woke up, back in my room as though it was nothing but a dream. My wig was gone and I had a night gown on. I looked down my arm and saw that I had an IV, bandages and other monitors attached to me. Right by my bed was a warm cup of coffee. I savagely chugged it down and got out of bed.

I dragged my IV around with me as I explored the halls. I had no idea what day or time it was, all I know was that I was in deep trouble that night.

"Tsukiyama?!" I hollered. The house was strangely quiet, was he even home.

I limped over to the staircase, whether all the workers were. I stopped one of the maids and asked her where Tsukiyama was.

"He went out a while ago to go to school. He should be back soon."

With that in mind, I went back to my room and tried to get as much rest as possible. My eyes snapped open right when the sound of footsteps passed my room. I shuffled out of bed and peeked out my door.

A maid was pushing a cart of coffee to Tsukiyama's study room. Within five minutes she came right out. Out of curiosity, I made my way to his room and carefully opened the door. Books scattered all over the floor and up on the ladder was that flashy lunatic, reading rapidly.

"Tsukiyama?" I called up to him.

From the sound of my voice, he flung another book in the air and stared psychotically at me. His eyes were wide, his pupils dilated and his face was grim.

"Tsukiyama, what's happening?"

"I was meaning to see you right when you awoke but then....I couldn't help myself. I had to go see him." he seemed dazed and zombified.

"Well, I've been through hell and that's all you have to say?! Who the hell are you talking about anyway?!"

He jumped down from his ladder and walked up to me. I drew back, fearing that he might get violent with me.

"I sent some of my workers to search for you last night but the patrol was too high, so we had no choice but to bail."

"Then where did you go in the morning?"

At first I thought he was going to ruffle up my head but instead he fiercely grabbed the back of my head and pressed my face against a napkin he had in his pocket. The scent was so overwhelming that I was pretty sure that my kakugan was awakened.

He was far too strong for me to push away. I vigorously tapped his arm, telling him that I couldn't breath. Finally, he released me and gave me a moment to breath. I fell to the ground, gasping for air.

"The most divine scent you've ever smelt, right?" He laid it over his face and began to deeply inhale it. I was deathly frightened by his new behavior.

"What about the dinner? I'm still starving here." I asked as I crawled away from him.

"No need to worry, my dearest." He knelt down and waved the blood stain in my face.

"I've already postponed our dinner. We'll have the most exquisite meal of our lives...Kaneki Ken." he laughed.
