It Was Adam

I woke up still on sofa but there was no Diamond around. I had a blanket on myself. I straddled when I heard a piano sound.
"Oh Gosh.. I didn't mean to wake you up." Diamond quickly came to me.
"It's fine. I was awake already." I yawned. I glanced at her and smiled.
"I made you coffee." she stuttered and brought coffee to me. I blinked and sat up. Then she brought food and placed on my legs.
"Here you go." she whispered and looked at me. I smiled.
"I know your secret..." I whispered into her ear and sipped my coffee.
"Huh?" Diamond got confused and sat down.
"I saw you singing in that live music restaurant." I smiled but then my smile faded away when I saw her face expression. I cleared my throat.
"Don't kill me..." I said in a low voice scared.
"Why weren't you in bed sleeping??" she raised her eyebrow. I pouted.
"I was looking for you, but you didn't answer. So, I got into your room but you weren't there too. I saw a flyer about that and asked Basil to get me there. Then I saw you there with some dude, all smiley and everything. That was probably Jake..." I said with some jealousy at the end. Diamond started laughing and took empty plate and cup away. She came back.
"That wasn't Jake! It was Adam, my brother. We do that as our hobby." she got my wheelchair closer. I got embarrassed for thinking it was her boyfriend. I got in the wheelchair.
"You sing amazing. I fell in love with your voice." I looked her in the eyes. Diamond blushed.
"Um, thanks but I think so. And you shouldn't know this." she crossed her arms under her chest.
"Oopsie but I'll stick to my opinion, darling." I smiled and dragged her to the piano.
"Do you know how to play?" I asked. She nodded and I sat her on the chair.
"C'mon, play something and maybe sing." I stared at her.
"I don't know what... And I don't know at all... You're a singer and know this thing but I didn't go to vocals, I don't think I'm that good as you say." she sighed.
"You didn't? That's amazing. Go for it. Think of something and play. I'll wait." I smiled getting comfy and waited for her to start. I got interested when she started playing.

Diamond sang and looked at me from time to time. I stroked my arm getting goosebumps from her voice.
"You're amazing. Believe me, love, you are." I took her hand.
"T-thanks, Niall. It means a lot to me." Diamond looked me in the eyes. I stroked her cheek and we both straddled when her phone started ringing.
"Sorry. It's Jake. I need to go end this for good." she said not answering. I nodded. "I'll be back soon. If something happens, call me." she smiled and stroked my hair. I quickly grabbed her and kissed her.
"Okay okay... Don't eat me." she giggled and I licked my lips watching her leave.
