Please, Accept It

--Niall's POV--
I looked at my legs, blinking. Why it doesn't go like in movies, where you look at your feet and suddenly you move a toe... I wish but at the same time I don't. Part of me doesn't want to stand up anymore. Because of her. When I get on my feet, she'll leave. I don't want that. I got attached to her and my feelings for her are growing and growing every day. I smiled watching Diamond cook and heard a doorbell.
"I'll get it." I said rolling to the door. "Thanks." I said for the package and the minute I shut the door I unwrapped like some cat. I smiled and carefully looked inside.
"Come eat!" I heard Diamond. I hid the box under my leg and drove to the table.
"Who was there?" Diamond asked.
"Ah my package came." I said getting a better access to the table.
"What'd you got?" she asked eating.
"Don't be mad." I shyly looked at her and she frowned her eyebrows. I placed gently the box on table and pushed to her direction.
"It's for you." I whispered looking at her.
"Niall-"
"Just look. You deserve it after everything." I put the strand of her hair under ear. Diamond squinted her eyes but carefully opened the box.
"Niall, no. I can't. I can't accept it." Diamond shaked her head repeatedly and closed the box. I felt frustrated because she didn't accept it.
"Diamond, please. I want you to hear everything. With both of your ears. I want you to feel confident, valuable, feel as yourself. I don't know the feeling of living without hearing but I bet it sucks. I don't want to see you suffer. So, please accept it." I said feeling hurt because she's so insecure. I took the hearing aids out. Diamond wiped her tears away and gave me access to her ears. I gently put one in her ear and replaced the old one with new. I nodded and she turned them on. I watched her reaction holding the old hearing aid.
"How is it?" I asked feeling interested.
"They're amazing! And really comfy." Diamond's face even lit up. I saw how happy she was.
"Well they're a bit smaller than old one you had. They said you can get in ear ones if you want. They won't be visible at all." I smiled. I felt happy because she felt happy.
"How I can owe you?" Diamond took my hand. I pressed her hand.
"I don't need anything. But if you want to thank me somehow... A simple kiss on a cheek would work." I giggled. Diamond grabbed my face and kissed me.
"Is this good for thank you?" she smirked looking into my eyes.
"A bit more would be amazing." I licked my lips. Diamond giggled and kissed me with her tongue.
"It's getting hot here, phew." I laughed when we broke the kiss. Diamond giggled eating.
--Diamond's POV--
In evening I went to check on Niall. I smiled seeing him with his notebook writing. I'm glad he's back on track of doing what he likes. I quietly went away and put on my shoes. I'm going to meet Adam, my brother and hit for some singing.
