"Oh my- Cory your arm!" Shelby covered her mouth, shock and concern covering her entire visage. "Are you ok?!"

Making an attempt to move his hand out of their view, Cory insisted that he was fine. Max urgently attempted to see what was wrong, repeatedly asking to check his arm.

"Seriously guys, I'm fine." Cory flicked his wrist slightly, pulling his sleeve down to cover his now blood-smeared hand. "It's just a small cut. Not worth the worry."

"A 'small cut, not worth the worry' wouldn't be bleeding like that." The female crossed her arms, hoping to make her point clear enough so that he would accept the help they were offering. "Just let me heal it real quick and it'll be done with, ok?" The red-head began to reach towards his arm before the boy spoke up again.

"I'll be fine. Don't waste your energy on something that isn't worth it when you'll probably need it for later." Shelby ignored him and gently moved his arm closer, being careful to not catch his injury.

"Could you move your sleeve please?" She calmly requested, "I don't wanna hurt your arm..."

Cory sighed and hesitantly pulled his sleeve up, revealing a bad gash located on his forearm. The familiar white light emitted from Shelby's hands as she immediately began healing his wound. The two boys remained silent as they watched, as if the slightest bit of sound would disturb her concentration.

Aphmau and Ross sharply rounded a corner and came running into the room, only to be greeted with the scene in front of them.

"Woah," Ross blankly stated as he observed what was happening. "What happened here?" The two of them slowed their pace and walked up to their friends, kneeling down next to them.

"Want some help?" Aphmau pointlessly offered as she assisted Shelby in healing their friend anyway, a lilac-coloured gleam radiating from her palms. The two girls continued while Max quickly caught them up on the current situation and what had happened.

"What about Sky?" Ross questioned, placing a hand on his unconscious friend's chest to check if he was breathing. "What happened to him? Why's he knocked out?"

"Cory said he was shot with some sort of dart by the guards." Max shortly explained, glancing down at the lion hybrid. "We're hoping he wakes up soon but we don't know. Shelby's already tried healing him."

The pair of girls backed up a little as they finished healing, respecting his personal space.

"See? That didn't take long did it?" Shelby simpered, afterwards thanking Aph for helping her.

"Yeah... Thanks." Cory pulled his sleeve back down, smiling gratefully. "You didn't use up too much of your power, did you? I don't want either of you to waste it."

"That's why I decided to help actually!" Aphmau giggled, turning to Shelby with a smile. "Hopefully it did help somewhat?" Shelby hummed a 'yes' in response and returned her grin.

After deciding that it would be best to go back, the group gathered anything that they might need, including Sky who was thankfully carried by Max, and made their way back.

After explaining and presenting to Cory what they had found in terms of disguises, the five of them discussed what they should do. Currently, they weren't sure whether to only send half of them and have the other half stay behind, or send five of them and only have one of them stay behind. Along with this, they were attempting to think of ways that the sixth person could seak out with them undetected.

So far the only things that had been suggested we're Ross' invisibility and Cory's illusions. Both of which wouldn't work since they know Cory and Sky are up to something and Ross would most likely be caught by the guards. Nobody was entirely sure whether it was true or not but the staff had been rumoured to have goggles/helmets that make them immune to the hybrids invisibility. They decided that it was probably not worth the risk and attempted to come up with something else.

"I could try my hypnosis?" Aphmau suggested, though on the fence about whether it would work herself.

"Great idea but I doubt it would work as well with so many guards..." Max frowned, trying his best to think of ideas even though it wasn't really working.

"I can stay behind. You guys should get out and go get he-" Cory began before being quickly interrupted by Ross.

"Nobody is being left here alone." He glanced around at each of his friends, who all gave a nod of agreement. "Either we find a way to get everyone out or at least two people are staying behind while the others go to find help."

"But what if we can't get anyone out?" Cory stared back at the squirrel hybrid, awaiting a response. "It's not like we can use my illusions or break through the walls anymore cause they know we're up to something, and I doubt we'll be able to force our way out."

"We'll just have to think of another plan."

If you guys have any suggestions for any plans they could try then feel welcome to share in the comments! :3
