Emily's PoV
Prom.
A dance I really didn't wish to attend, mainly because I never had anyone to share the magical night with.
But tonight was different.
I was not alone, instead I had Jasper.
"Don't touch that?" Alice scolds, as I reached up to itch my nose.
"Sorry," I mumble as she finishes applying my foundation, while Rose gently pulls my hair into an intricate braid, careful not to break my stitches.
Alice smiles at me, "close you eyes."
I comply and let her paint my eyelids, before she adds some red lipstick. She hums as she slowly creates her masterpiece upon her plain canvas.
"Done," Alice announces, swivelling my chair around, in front of the mirror.
I slowly open my eyes and gasp loudly.
"Wow," I comment, turning to Alice, "Thank you."
She grins, handing me a dress, "Go put this on."
I nod, smiling at Rose who stood magnificently in a dark red dress. I stand up and enter the bathroom, slipping on the silky purple fabric over my body.
I walk out and spot Alice applying the finishing touches to her makeup.
"You both look beautiful," I comment.
"As do you," Rose replies, smiling widely, as she side hugs me in front of the mirror.
"Time to go," Alice states, grabbing my hand and pulling towards the staircase.
