"Y/n... fuck!" Alex yelled marching into your room.

"What?" You said rubbing your head.

"We forgot George's birthday" he said loudly.

"What we went drinking yesterday for it right?" You asked wondering if Alex had been confused.

"Yeah that's what I thought" he said.

"Oh fuck!" You said scratching your neck realizing you forgot your best friend's birthday.

"Come to the store" Alex said, "let's get some stuff"

You nodded and hurried out. You looked over and checked to see if George was still asleep. He was.

You and Alex hurried and grabbed gifts and a cake so you could pretend like you guys just surprised him. When you guys finally got home it was the early afternoon.

You went to check if George was still sleep, and to your surprise he wasn't, he was editing.

"George?" You asked, even though you knew it was him.

"Yeah" he answered moving his eyes away from the screen.

"Happy Birthday" you smiled.

"I thought you'd forget" he laughed and scratched the back of his neck.

"Well we didn't" Alex said bursting through the door with a stupid party hat on and a few balloons in hand.

He handed you a party hat and moved his head signaling you and George to head out to the living room.

George smiled largely when he saw a large cake on the table and a few balloons. Out of his view you whispered to Alex, "how did you do this so fast"

"Magicians never tell there secrets" he laughed. You giggled and gave him a fist bump.

"Thanks guys" George said happily and ran to hug you. You hugged him back and smiled.

"Hey it's your birthday big boy we were obliged to do this" you laughed.

He rolled his eyes jokingly, "oh shut up" he laughed.
