You and James broke up months ago but you always seemed to find a way back to each other, whether it be he happened to be at the same bar as you or just seeing him at the shops but it always ended the same way.

You told yourself every time it would be the last time, but it never was. You'd wake up in his arms and mentally slap yourself. You'd sneak up before he woke up, knowing that if he talked to you, you wouldn't be able to leave.

You'd end every conversation like it was the last, hoping it would be, even though you knew it wouldn't.

Every stranger you saw you saw his face. Everything that happened you somehow equated to him. You hoped he felt the same, but you honestly didn't know.

You needed him, all of the time. You wanted to tell him it every time you saw his face.

You missed the way he'd call you Darling, now he called you by name. It  made you hate your name.

If only he felt the same.
