Josh PoV ;)

"Your majesty what color do you want for the wedding" an elderly woman asked me shyly.

"Your suit is blue and white so that shall be the color of the flowers" my mother responded for me not even letting me speak.

"I was actually thinking..." I tried to say.

"Don't listen to him" my mother whispered to the woman,then promptly forced her out.

"What is wrong with you Joshua you do not make the decisions here" mother said quietly storming out.

I ran my hand through my puffy hair, calmly leaving the room and headed to my room.

I opened the door to my extravagant room, seeing a small figure, a maid, dusting the nightstand.

"Sorry your majesty" the girl sighed looking intently behind me, to the door, signaling me to close it.

I smiled and closed the door slowly. She immediately looked less stressed.

"So how did it go" she smiled moving closer to me.

"The suit is actually horrible" I laughed and hugged her tightly. Her happy demeanor slowly faded.

"Josh what are you gonna do?" She asked quietly.

"I don't know Y/N, I don't know what I can do" I sighed, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

She nodded sadly and bit her bottom lip. "Did they tell you her name yet?" She asked looking away from me.

"Yeah, her name's Magdalena" I said, touching her shoulder softly and kissing her cheek, trying to calm her.

"That's a pretty name" she said sadly.

"Not as pretty as Y/N" I said smoothly.

"You are an idiot" she giggled hitting my chest gently. She looked up like she was about to kiss me, but suddenly stopping.

"Why'd you stop?" I smiled caressing her cheek.

"Babe, you are going to be married in less than two weeks" she sighed.

"I don't really have a choice here, I can't just say no." I said slightly annoyed.

"Gotta love royalty" she tried to laugh.

"I'm sorry" I said sincerely.

She shook her head, "it's not your fault"

"Yeah" I sighed

~~~~The day of the wedding~~~~

"Get out" I said to everyone in the dressing room suddenly. Everyone immediately left. When everyone left I opened a small door in the back revealing Y/N.

"Your gonna be married" she said in a fake happy tone.

"Yeah" I looked down defeatedly "but I don't want to be, not to her at least"

"She's beautiful" y/n said, she wasn't wrong the woman was beautiful, but she wasn't who I loved. I mean I barely knew her, I had met her about 4 times.

"She's not you" I said, looking down to her.

"Josh..." she trailed off.

"What?" I asked.

"She doesn't deserve a husband who is in love with someone else" she said calmly.

"I know" I ran my hand through my hair.

"She probably doesn't want this either" Y/N said.

"Y/N..." I said my mind wandering.

"What, Joshy?"

"Let's run away" I said grabbing her hand.

"What!" She said confused.

"Like right now" I said happily.

"Seriously" She asked.

"Yeah" I said as I pried open the window.

I fit my self through the large window and held out my hand to her. "Come on"

"You're insane" she smiled and took my hand joining me.
