You knew he was terrified, completely and utterly afraid, even if he pretended he wasn't. He was afraid what people would say. He had been putting it back for years.

"You'll be fine" you smiled, and ran your hand across his jaw which was covered by his bandana.

"I'm a ten, they'll love me" he laughed, hiding his insecurities with jokes.

"I know" you said kissing his cheek, above his bandana. He smiled under his mask, he loved when you did that.

"I need another kiss...for good luck" he said pointing at his cheek.

"Ahh, nice" you giggled. You kissed him on the cheek once again. This time he audibly sighed.

"Go do your video" you smiled at him, trying to figure out his expression through his glasses. You began to walk away when he stopped you.

"You should stay for it, it'll be like a girlfriend and face reveal" he said and held your waist.

You looked down and sighed, pulling a chair up to his desk. "Okay, fine" you sat down and smiled.

He told you the plan for the video, then quickly turned on the camera. "Right okay so this is my girlfriend, Y/N" he said and pointed to you.

"Hello" you laughed.

He awkwardly pretended to sneeze and then slyly took off his mask. "Oh this totally wasn't planned and this is my face" he laughed

"Smooooth" you laughed, you continued talking. "So does this mean I can post our couple pictures"

"Yes it does" he said, and wrapped his arm over your shoulder.

You hold his chin in your hand and say "he's cute isn't he"

"Yeah I'm fucking adorable" he laughed.

You both finished the video and uploaded it. As soon as it was up comments started rolling "she's too hot for him" "wow she's out of his league"

When those comments continued to come, he became more and more annoyed. You came home about two days after the video was uploaded and saw him sitting on his bed silently. His head was low and you heard a slight whimper.

"Babes are you ok" you questioned.

"No, I'm not... I think we need to break..." he began tearing up regretting what he said already.

"What... why what did I do wrong, am I not good enough" you began crying profusely.

"You didn't do anything, and you are perfect... you deserve so much more than me" he cried.

"No, is this about the video" you cried now sitting.

"They are right" he cried, not looking you in the eye, knowing if he did he wouldn't be able to handle it anymore.

"No they aren't, George I love you, please...please don't leave me" you cried harder than you had in a long while.

"Please don't cry" he finally broke, and held you tightly. "I love you too"

"I can't loose you too" you said and he tightened his hold on you.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking" he said snuggling his head into your shoulder.

"I don't care what they say" you whispered into his hoodie.

"I'll never do it again" he promised sincerely.

"Better not" you laughed through the tears.

"Pinky promise"
