Blake's POV:

"I cannot do this Alexandra! Is there any other way to save her?"

"No, you have to mark her; otherwise she may never wake up, if you do not."

"Nevertheless, you said she is in a coma, which means there is a chance for her to wake up right."

Alexandra's eyes softens. "Blake, Rose has been asleep for a month; I do not see any other way for her to wake up. Your mark may spark something in her to wake up."

"All right, leave me be, I will do it now."

"You have made the right choice Blake," said Alexandra.

*Sigh* "Forgive me Rose, but I have no other choice. I hope when you wake up you do not reject my protection."

I take the bottle containing my blood from my jacket pocket out, then I take the paintbrush from the table beside Rose's hospital bed and using my blood, I draw a Rose tattoo on her shoulder blade.

After, I am done, I kiss each petal to seal my promise of protection (the seal means Blake will forever protect and love Rose) the tattoo burns and embeds into her skin like a tattoo.

I draw the same Rose tattoo on my shoulder blades using her blood that Alexandra had extracted.

I splash the rest of my blood onto my tattoo and then it burns into my skin, forming a tattoo.

I can feel our genes bonding our hearts, becoming one. Both our tattoos burn, I scream in agony. I hope this works, or I might never live it down.

"Wake up soon Rose, I am waiting for you."

Two days later, I returned to the hospital fully freshened up and finally wearing some new clothes, other than my old clothes.

My white shirt hugs my chest and my black jeans match my shirt.

Opening the hospital door, I am shocked to see Rose awake.

"Rose, you are awake!" I screamed out.

"Blake, come here, and explain why I have a freaking tattoo on my shoulder blade!

Did you know, if my mum finds out about this, she will kill me?" Exclaimed Rose.

"Before I explain, you have to promise me that you will not hurt me."

"Oh, please, as if I am going to promise you that. Now explain, before I slap you."

"Geez, you really do not care about me." I pout.

"Blake, explain yourself!"

"I marked you."

Rose turns stiff.

"You did what?"

"I marked you Rose," I whisper.

*Slap!*

"Ow, hey, I said not to hurt me," I wine.

"You idiot, why did not you tell me that I would have a tattoo stuck on my skin for the rest of my life?"

"Well, you never asked."

Fuming, she crosses her arms.
"I am not talking to you anymore, go away."

"Rose, come on, please, I did not mean to do it, but you were not going to wake up if I did not mark you." I sighed. "I am sorry you have to deal with this, but I really meant well."

Sighing, Rose looks at me and her eyes soften.

"I know you are sorry, and I forgive you, it is just, I never wanted a tattoo, but I guess I can live with it."
