Chapter 15 Understanding

Blake's POV:

I still need to make sure Rose is safe and to do that, I need to make sure she knows everything about my kind.

It is the only way she will understand how dangerous it will be for her if she is not protected by me.

I parked my Ferrari and sped inside towards my locker. I get out my books and put them into my backpack.

From the corner of my eye I see Rose approaching me so I speed towards her.

"Hey, how are you feeling today?" I asked Rose.

"Blake, why did you have to speed towards me? You saw me coming!" Asked Rose.
(I think I scared her)

"Sorry, I couldn't resist." I sheepishly smile.

"Of course you couldn't." she rolls her eyes.

Ryan, Sophie and Denis speeds towards  Rose and me.

"Oh, come on! Why are all of you using your super speed, can you not walk like normal human beings?!" Exclaimed Rose. (She still doesn't understand we're vampire, after all this time, can you believe it?)

Baffled, all of them stood still like they just saw ghost, not knowing what to say.

I chuckle, "Alright Sophie, Denis and Ryan, listen up. From now on, no one use their powers in front of Rose, understand?"
"But, what if she's badly hurt? Do we leave her lying on the floor, waiting for her to die?" Denis said. Denis then glared at me.

"That's an exception, now onto important matters, Ryan, take Rose, outside and explain everything she does not know about our kind."

"Okay sure, but just one thing, so other things are more important then your mate dying?" replied Ryan.
"Ryan..." I said
"Yes?" Ryan responded.
"Shut the f**k up!" I shouted at him.

"Wait, why do I need to know everything about your kind?" Rose questioned.

"Because, I need you to understand vampires, so that you know why I have to protect you so much, also, you always asked me, so why not?"

"Okay," Rose said.

As Rose and Ryan leave, I turn my head towards Sophie and Denis.

"Sophie and Denis, do you have any news for me?"

Denis speaks first, "Yes, I have information about the eagle masked man that we encountered, turns out he was the father of that child you murdered in the forest."

"That must have been why the eagle masked man took Rose and tried to kill her, as revenge."

"But, how did the man know she was my mate? Only I can know that."

"I think the man was sent by someone else, someone who can predict your future.

It is the only way the man could have known who your mate is and it explains how Rose's friend Mohima was killed as a warning to you," suggested Denis.

"You may be right, but there are only three kings in the whole country who can predict the future of their bloodline.

One is my father and the other two are king Adrian of Manchester and king Lorcan of Leicester."

Looks I will have to pay a visit to these kings.

"Alright Denis, you have done well. Sophie, do you have any information that you have found out?"

"Yes, Rose is not a human, well half human and half umine."

"What? How can that be?"

"Dr. Alexandra found out from Rose's blood sample that Rose had genes that have mutated in to cells, which are immune to diseases and virus's like us vampire genes are."
