Mina's POV

Ren waved to the girls as they dragged dahyunnie and momoring for the ride. i decided not to go because  it's a rollercoaster that looked quite extreme considering the height and screams from other visitors. we walked sightseeing the place, feeling the night ambience of lightings from light poles and people enjoying their night with their relatives. i looked at Ren's face showered by moonlight with the wind blowing his coat's collar as i saw his eyes glimmering with sorrow and regrets. "is he lamenting about what happened 2 years ago?" i asked myself mentally out of curiousity.

we walked until we found a place not so quiet, revealing the view of the place shimmering with city's lights as the moon shines forming a sickle. "didn't know that he can be this quiet when no one's around." i stated mentally

"so... Ren. may i have a penny for your thoughts," i asked breaking the ice between us as we kept walking alongside. He turned his head for me to see his face, looking straight into my eyes as i saw his eyes starts pooling in tears. "Minari... have you ever felt like your whole life is so messed up and fucked up for the reason being that is yourself. You are the one that's responsible for everything that has happened." His voice raspy, holding a cry.

"My life... my family... my sister... it's all my fault." He continued, voice shaky as he tremble upon his fears sounded out from his thoughts. I embraced his hand from his coat's pocket, holding his hand feeling a tremendous regret through his hand gripping my hand tightly. He took a deep breaths as he turned his head to infinity and sighed.

"you see... when i was little before my sister was born at the time. i asked kaa-san for a sibbling so our family can be, more lively."

"okaa-san smiled approving my request but my oyaji didn't. okaa-san tried to convince oyaji at the time and after awhile, he finally approved. i was so happy that my father finally approved and after the next like 4 months or so. oyaji declared that kaa-san is pregnant and the baby will be a girl."

"i began to imagine what can i do for my little sister. playing, teasing, and basically everything that you could dream of having a sibling like. but what i didn't notice was... kaa-san's health and condition." he stated. He paused for awhile, gulping and "the maternity day came and..."

"your kaa-san didn't make it, didn't she? just because she wanted to save your sister instead of her." i replied continuing his sentence as he nodded weakly then turning his head towards me. By now, his eyes were glittering from tears and his cheeks were stained by it. I put out my hand, wiping some of his tears.

"kaa-san died and oyaji couldn't handle living without his beloved wife and soon. he lost his sanity leaving us when hinami's still a little kid. my sister grew up orphaned without knowing her parents and the love of a warm and happy family. i took care of her since then, with the help of my friend, takeshi-kun."

"i was so busy taking care of my sister. collecting money for us to eat and my sister's education. i scrapped and worked so hard until, i~. i heard this word called hacking and i immedietly took an interest to it. i learned hacking in between my working' time using the ATM machine, messing with the server connection and hardware. i soon became good at it. i even made the most prominent and potent tools for the community, and was ranked the best of best from the world."
