New Year

Mina's POV

"I love you." We said it together as we pulled away gently from our kiss. His teary eyes are no longer eventhough i can still see the trace of his happy tears reflecting the lights from all the Christmas decorations around us. "What surprise you've yet to show me, Ren?" I tried to joke as i sniffled and chuckled right after. "A lot more, Minari. There's a lot of things i wanted to show you." He curved a soft smile and then i felt a tuck on my coat. "Kaa-san why are we on TV?" I looked down over to Shion pointing at the billboard screens. "It's too-san, Shion-chan. Too-san did it." I explained softly to Shion as she looked over to the screens then back. "Hontou?" Shion's voice pitching cutely. "Ne, Shion-chan. Too-san did it." Ren reassured what just happened. Then i moved my arms around his neck, "do you want to stay here until new year, Minari?" Ren offered and my lips pursed pouting while considering his offer. "Joh-a, let's do that." He then leaned forward giving my a quick peck. "Or maybe, you want to go somewhere else?"

There he goes again. Very indecisive sometimes. I giggled to the thought i have in mind and he tapped my nose. "What are you thinking, hmm?" He asked while teasingly grinning. "Nandemonai." I replied teasing him back. "Ikou, it's getting late." He motioned his head inviting us to get back to our hotel. "Shion-chan, kaerou." Ren looked down to Shion as I remove my arms around Ren and lowered my back. "Kaerou, Shion-chan." Shion nodded as i took her hand after stroking her hairs to the side. We walked along the sidewalk together with Shion mesmerized by the view of New York's nightlife and my other hand was held by Ren inside his coat's pocket. Ren looked over to me then back over to his shoulder realizing something. "A- yeah i forgot to undo the surprise." As he quickly reached for his phone tapping it and then looked back again. I looked back to the billboard screens and found that they're back to normal. "Wouldn't want to display our private video out in the public for too long." He joked as i shoved him lightly with my side while he was laughing.

"Ren, is Shion asleep?" He nodded as he kept his hand caressing Shion's side sleeping in between us. "I think Shion is really enjoying her time here. Should we move here?" Ren asked again, "iie, Shion is always happy when she got to spend her time with us, Ren. She really looked up to you." I reached out to cup his face and rubbing his face gently with my thumb. "What do you think Shion want for this year's Christmas?" Ren asked as he snuggled his face more onto my hand. "I'm sure that you are enough to fulfill her wish, Ren." I curved a soft smile to him and he did the same too. "Do you want to go shopping tomorrow?" Ren offered, "i bet Shion will like it." Ren paused smiling at Shion, sleeping. "She got to spend her time more with us." He added in which i know why he was saying. "Ne, Ren. Shion would love to go shopping with us tomorrow." Ren moved closer reaching to my side embracing both of us, gently. "Let's get to sleep now. Shion would want to start her day really early if she knew this." Ren moved his position to his side as his other arm reaching my side forming a big hug. "Oyasuminasai, Minguin." Ren smiled at me before going to sleep. "Mo oyasumi, shiragano." I slowly closed my eyes going to sleep as i felt his warming embrace pulling us closer into his arms.

We are currently in Sydney, Australia. Yeah, Ren had some change of plans. His indecisiveness is very cute. He is really cute. I thought while biting my lower lip in my curving smile as i looked at him with Shion. We are currently standing around the famoust Sydney opera house and we are close to new year already. In New York, when we were walking around shopping, he sneakily bought an apartment here in Sydney and when immediately asked. He always tried to avoid it by looking away or rolling his tone cutely. I can't stand his cuteness over that kind of situations sometimes. I giggled to the thought and memory i had recalled while keeping my eyes on both of them with Ren answering Shion's questions relating to the Sydney opera house. Shion looked very excited upon hearing her father's response and answers on her questions. "Too-san, why do you know all this stuff about the place." I saw Shion pouting at her father. "It's because too-san used to travel around the world through his job, hacking." I brought myself down to Shion's height and looked over to Ren in the same position. "Too-san was the most respected hacker and he also has been taking care of bad person from attacking people." I explained to Shion as i saw Ren curving a subtle smirk and then chuckled. "Where do you know that?" Ren asked with his subtle smirk. "I'm your wife, Ren. Of course i know things about my husband." My tone sounded arrogant showing off my knowledge about him.
